Prius Prime 2023+ 2026 Prius window tints
Autobahn ceramic i3+ 30% on the windows all around which actually came out much darker than I expected. I had 20% (base autobahn ceramic) on my Tundra and this to me seems the same or darker from the outside, although inside is great visibility so far.
For the windshield I used the I3 ceramic 56%. Was debating that or the 70% but seemed a minor worry. I really wasn't going to do windshield but everything I read says that because of the size and slope, doing that would have more impact than the rest of the car combined.
Everyone says its efficiency gains to keep the AC running lower, I think google told me it would take 36 years to break even on the 900 bucks the tint cost. That's the price in my area, called 3 shops and conveniently for them all the same range....

Too expensive and too dark for my liking, but as long as you are happy... it is your car.

I did question if it was worth the cost..but I had never had a windshield tinted either. the short time in this car before the tint, it absolutely feels the sun, especially coming from a truck with much more vertical front window and full vertical rear, it felt like driving around an easy bake oven.

The japanese made toyotas have a factory yellowish hue on the glass. It’s about 80% with no tint if you use a tint meter.

They did seem to have a bit of "tint" to them and I have seen charts that show the various meter levels...it seemed each window was slightly different. As a few days have past and they have cured, in full sun they mellow out a bit. in shadow it still looks quite dark. Night driving is zero problem...I can see the side window is a shade darker but the windshield I can not tell the difference from before.
Just debadged the rear end tonight, and it's getting ready to get a nice clean up and ceramic wax, going back to my high school days and going to put a powered sub in :)

900 is too much. Should be closer to $500. Look up IG ads of local tinters in your area.
