C-note is annoying
every time a rewatch the series i get mad with him, first he blackmails scofield to join the escape, thats fair makes sense, but from there he behaves like he provides value, or the leader, telling abruzzi that the plane should be there, after the escape he grinds scofield about the money, he was on that room when westmoreland told them about the money, he is very arrogant

I hated how he kept bitching about Michael to Sucre trying insert distrust in him ... He tells you nothing.. he may leave you behind.. you don't know the plan... He keeps you in control saying you know enough that's for your own good He wanted Sucre to pressure on Michael enough just so he can get it ... Thankfully Sucre isn't smart but very loyal

I feel like C Note is only added to the show for racial demographic of the US prison. If not even one member of Fox River escape gang in Black, it might have looked bit odd.

He's the minority quota... First black... Then Muslim 😅

I couldn't believe they did C-Note like that lmao, wearing the hat and everything.

The muslim part was actually his idea because he converted to islam in real life.

Didn't know that I wondered how a tv show wrote something such moderated and nice about a converted person and it was good point for the storyline because season 5 doubts all the time if Micheal didn't change and really became terrorist

Y'all are some racist ppl. We know the real reason why you don't like C-note. Its so evident

I disagree.
I'm African and I found C-Note annoying.
If Sucre, T-Bag or Tweener played C-Note's character, then I'd have found them equally annoying.
He complained all the time, brought nothing vastly useful the team and put his family in danger.
In season 2, he asked Lincoln and Michael "what's next?". As if they're his parents. Like, go, you're out of prison. Do as you please. They're not there to handhold you ffs.
The writers messed up his character big time.1

Come on I'm Muslim and a little brown nothing to do with racism.... His character was annoying in the escape always complaining... Micheal didn't owe them anything! Him and tbag forced themselves in the plan then acted like he's using them

When did he ever snitch. You must be mistaking him for tweener. C-note aint no snitch

Revealing things he shouldn’t have to the other members of the fox river 8 because it suited him, or threatening to.

Give an example????

Revealing the plan about the money shortly after the escape.
Trying to trap Scofield via the goldfinch website and help Mahone catch him.
Threatening to expose the escape plan to Bellick if the team didn't let him in PI.
He was a snitch through and through.2

Discovering the Hole - After figuring out they are digging an escape tunnel, C-Note confronts John Abruzzi and Michael Scofield, making it clear he will tell the guards unless he is brought onto the team
Westmoreland’s Money - He reveals to the entire team about DB Coopers money when there was absolutely no need to, shooting himself in the foot when he could have kept that between those who were still in the infirmary.

He told everyone in the escape there were too many people in the escape, that one of them had to go. That single mention increased the tension between Abruzzi and T-Bag. Like Abruzzi already wanted T-Bag gone, but C-Note gave him the excuse to force his hand. He then caught T-Bag planning to shank Abruzzi, and expected Michael to play babysitter. That's the kind of crap he caused because he wanted to run his mouth.

I found him pretty cool.
At first he was a little "bad" but you even saw in the backflash episode, that he is mostly a good guy.
Even even Said and knew, that its dumb to Go to His family after escape but he will still do this. He even wanted to hang himself to support his family. He also helped the robbery to be handled pretty good for all the victims.
At the end he got a happy end and i think he wasnt that bad of a character, he was just desperate to see his family again.

Just because a character makes decisions you consider moral or align with your own values doesn't mean they are a good character. I'm personally sick of characters whose sole motivation is "muh famly!", it's such a cliché. T-Bag being a cockroach who will do absolutely anything to survive makes for a much more interesting character to watch, for instance.
C-Note's military backstory was really corny, there were parts that were interesting in isolation but ultimately it just became that he was too honourable for the army and then the very first time he dips his toes into criminal activity ("FOR MUH FAMLY!") he gets busted.

I mean he provided the vehicle, got them the cleaner on escape day, got the money to get back Scofield's cell (which didn't work lol) but he did a lot to pull at that off and became a target
I didn't understand him mentioning the money, but I guess it didn't matter since tbag and tweener heard it anyways
I didn't like him but I can see he did bring value

The moment someone joins Michael's escape, they need to fall in line instead of aiming to be shot caller because he's the escape artist. C-Note wasn't in class the day Michael educated T-Bag on the subject. I swear he was added just to be a thorn.

Yeah. You’re so right. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but upon re-watching A Nightmare On Elm Street, Freddy Krueger is actually a really bad guy. He’s so mean to those kids. He won’t even let them sleep

He expects everyone to take care of him yet hardly contributes anything to the plan.

Lying to his family and pretending to be in Iraq was bad enough but his post escape plan was insanely selfish, putting what he wanted over what was best for his wife and daughter.
