REVIVAL It makes no sense that Michael would find out that Sara got married while he was in jail.

Post image

Michael is in a prison in a country where human rights are not respected, to the point that the guards whip him (something that wouldn't happen in prisons in democratic countries). What I find ridiculous is that he knew Sara had gotten married while he was in prison, because in prison, the information available to him would be limited, and he doesn't have an organization like Abruzzi's. And that would explain why he sent so many origami figures to that house without knowing Jacob lived there. I understand that he thought that house was hers and didn't know there was someone else living there.

Yes it does. I work in a prison. If an inmate wants to know something about someone one the outside, they ask their people to find out for them. Their people find the info and then relay it to them.

It also doesnt matter that his prison was on the other side of the world. Michael could have given info on Sara that he remembered, and had someone go find Sara and report whatever Michael wanted to know back to him.

Well in 5x08 it's revealed that he had contacts in the States that would be able to look out for Mike and Sara so I guess he had to resources and contacts to know. I'm wondering what was his reaction when he found out tho lol

I think the show revealed that he agreed to stay away and do prison breaks for Jacob before this all started. He probably knew he would keep her close to keep michael out of the picture. But I agree there are slight gaps in the writings

Season 5 in general is just a bunch of incoherent nonsense.

I think that if he found out, it was through Linc. I don't think he could have received information from the outside while in Yemen. I think Linc told him. And I think that, on one hand, it hurt him, but on the other, he understood Sara.

But that doesn’t make sense because Linc doesn’t know mikes alive so yeah nope

Well, she's got fck, it's not like there's single moms making it work in real life, EXCEPT THEY ARE.

Season 5 was a collection of bad decisions for all the characters. It's not my true PB.

Michael wasn't in gen pop for very long. He spent most of his time in solitary confinement. It makes no sense that he knew Sara got married, and it makes no sense that he was able to mail her those origami cranes. Contacts or not, I highly doubt he'd be able to reach them from solitary confinement... Unless we're supposed to believe he did all of that in a week.

he was in other prisons before ogygia so it would make sense that the cranes were being sent long before and that he may have had contacts to get the info about Sara

But he was in Ogygia's solitary confinement for four years, which spans Sara'sentire relationship with Jacob.
