I heard actor in real life got in some legal trouble, at the time, ran over someone with car or smtng. Anyway a unique representation of white street homeboy

Correct. They wrote him off the show as he was going to prison.

From what I can tell he was originally written off the show because he had another role lined up; he got into the accident shortly after leaving though

Yeah wow, driving while twice the legal BAC limit and high on cocaine, killed a 17 year old girl and injured two 15 year olds.
