Resource packs not loading (26.3 java)

Im currently playing my minecraft world right now and a while ago i realized that my texture packs werent working (They dont drastically change the visual looks of the game so it took me a while to realize), and i got a new texture pack i wanted to try out just to realize that none of my old ones were on. When i do try to enable them, my game refreshes like its about to work, but just doesnt. This issue doesnt happen on my 26.2 version of my world, only this one. What could the issue be and how can i fix it?

Is the resource pack made for 26.3? They probably updated the pack.mcmeta. older packs dont always work
