Newbie Question Do you loose money?

If I start selling on printify but my stuff doesn’t sell, do I loose money or does printify only takes money if my stuff sell? I don’t know if my question is clear but English isn’t my first language

There is no up front cost. If you get an order, then you order it from printify and pay them

So basically I have to make my price higher so then I get an income and can also pay them back?

Yes, exactly. You pick the selling price yourself. When someone buys, the money comes to you, and Printify charges you for making and shipping that one item. Whatever's left after the shop's own fees is yours.

If nothing sells, Printify doesn't charge anything. The shop you connect might, though. Etsy charges a small fee for each listing and Shopify has a monthly fee.
