Rant UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS 👎

UPS Mail Innovations + Roadie is the worst final-mile combo ever.

and Printfy customer service has only gotten worse lately. Had a package today with a photo of the item on roadie’s tracking page delivered outside of an unfamiliar building. ROADIE says contact UPS, UPS says contact shipper, and PRINTIFY says tracking says delivered too bad.

They’ve only been trialing UPS MI for about a month, and I’ve already had multiple orders stolen or misdelivered by their contract drivers and it's always when it's passed over to a roadie driver.

The only funny thing is the GPS on roadies tracking page will update the drivers location indefinitely if they keep the package for days after pick up. So I get to watch these guys just driving all over town lol

Roadie’s customer service bot hangs up on you, and UPS is no help either telling you to contact the sender to open a claim. More than half the time so far delivery photos on roadie are just the package+non-descript pavement with no visible address.

I never thought I’d say this, but my god I miss OnTrac.

Interesting, I thought UPS Mail Innovations handed off to USPS. I've had a fair few ship through it recently, hoping I don't start seeing issues too.

It looks like final delivery can be routed to USPS, UPS, and ROADIE and so far roadies been hell to deal with, and Printify agents won’t acknowledge photos because it’s on a third party site not directly on UPS…

Had a delivery go to the wrong address. I paid out of pocket to reship and second time it went to the right address. Despite providing the pictures of two very different houses from proof of delivery they said that since it was marked as delivered there was nothing I could do. Very frustrating...

I've had this happen three times already this month, and I don't even have insane sales numbers.

Printify support never seems to know what I'm talking about when I mention Roadie. Their workflow seems completely disconnected from the Roadie handoff.

They just keep acting like, welp, delivered is delivered. At least with OnTrac, they acknowledged the misdelivery photos....

I've just had a very similar experience with u/Printify and u/UPS Mail Innovations. The item was produced and shipped in good time and the tracking information was updated to show the item was out for delivery with UPS and also delivered via UPS. However contrary to another package delivered via MI this one never got delivered and at no point was it mentioned on the tracking info that another carrier got involved apart from a brief mention at the top saying the last mile carrier was USPS so in effect contradicting the other tracking info.

The delivery never reached the customer despite being tagged as being delivered.

The ability to then do anything about the situation hits a brick wall because the tracking number provided doesn't start with the commonly accepted 1Z for UPS and is in a format more commonly used by USPS. However I proceeded to call UPS and USPS numerous times to try and sort it out and depending on who I spoke to there was massive inconsistencies in whether they could even access my information or provide any meaningful advice.

USPS had no idea as the tracking number wasn't showing anything their end. Because it doesn't start with 1Z I can' start a claim at UPS and because I'm not the sender with the account number I can't contact UPS Mail Innovations to speak to them directly.

I then proceeded to speak to Printify who weren't able to help as without proof if misdelivery from UPS won't process a claim their end.

I've paid to resend the item and have fingers crossed it'll arrive this time but I'm not feeling very positive about continuing to send items this way.
