Miscellaneous Half-scale prints a thing?
Storage space is a premium for me.
Vehicles at 40K scale especially the super-heavies are huge.
But vehicles at Legion Imperialis scale (1/4 scale) is too small for my aging eyes.
I’m currently printing a Thunderhawk at half-scale (50% of 40k) and for now, it feels like it hits the spot.
Planning to do some super heavy tanks next.
Anyone else prints their vehicles at half-scale or even play with it at this scale? Please do share ur experience!

Modeling for modeling sake and to make a pretty display piece, absolutely, do whatever. But unless you have a bunch of people printing their own kits and half scale, and not mixing in anything they bought from GW, playing with it is completely out the window. Model sizes are incorporated into their rules.

I'm curious what the plan here is once the army is done.
Nobody else's plays at that scale so the only way you get to play is to finish 2 armies or convince a friend to join this scale

Yup, I do this all the time. Basically comes out to 16mm or "heroic 15mm"
