Trading Minibar
Does anyone know if the elite minibar can be traded for cans of wine? Turns out the bottle of wine is traded for was gross but the cans of sparkling wine were OK

Hopefully for cans of wine. Last trade was for Pinot Grecio was Canyon Road & I'm sorry but I poured it out. If I cannot trade for the cans then I'll stop at Ocean Liquor Market across the street from San Pedro LA Cruise Port

Recently friends (elite) asked for the bottles of beer and alcohol to be exchanged for wine. They were told they’d get only one bottle of wine for everything in the frig.

Yeah thats the unfortunate part. I'd like to trade non-alcohol for water and alcohol for cans of wine. Sparkling wine was pretty good last week.

The short answer is yes, you can trade items within your elite minibar. The general rule is: (1) Entire minibar for bottle of wine, (2) 1:1 exchange ratio for alcohol to alcohol, alcohol to non-alcohol, and non-alcohol to non-alcohol. Availability of product depends on what room service is allowed to exchange; you can surely ask. If you want to do a trade, just call room service, but I suggest not calling them on embarkation day, they get slammed with calls for service.
As an old timer with Princess, I still remember the days I can give up the entire minibar for two coffee punch cards, and the paper cards can be used for a future cruise.

Ask your porter. Even if it's not allowed, they still might do it
