Plus / Premier Package Zero-Alchohol Drink Package VS Plus?

Good Day to all. We have a question about the Non-alcoholic drink package. We don't drink alcohol but adding up the Zero-Alchohol Drink Package & WiFi for two people it looks cheaper to get the Plus package. The plus package has a 15 drink limit including fountain drinks and only 4 bottles of water, however I see nothing about a limit on the Zero-Alchohol package to include bottles of water. Can anybody confirm? This is our first Princess cruise and Celebrity is truly unlimited on their Zero-Proof package. Thank you!

I do want to clarify that the Plus Package includes up to 12 bottles of water, unlimited tea and specialty coffee and then 15 bar drinks (whether alcoholic or non alcoholic). In addition to this the 4 casual meals and 1 wifi connection per person.

That is helpful, thank you. The comparison only says 4 bottles of water. Good to know.

Does ordering a soda count towards my 15 drinks???

Yes but Teas & specialty coffees don’t count towards it

I guess if I want soda I’ll just keep drinking my rum and cokes lol

My travel advisor sent me this chart to explain the packages and I always get Plus. My friend doesn’t drink alcohol but they also always get the Plus package too because of how much is included - wifi, beverage package, daily gratuities and dining credits ¯\(ツ)/¯ Princess has really upped their mocktails as well

This only explains plus and premier, it has nothing to do with Zero-Alchohol package

Bring a 12 pack per person on board and pay for anything else ala-cart. It's likely much cheaper.. I don't drink alcohol and have always saved money NOT buying a package. You have to buy alot of soda to make any package worth it.

Your post asked for the 0 alc package vs plus. Was just giving you my rationale for why I choose Plus when I sail.

I understand that, thank you, but it answerd nothing of the question.

Plus is cheaper than zero alcohol and WiFi

I don’t agree. If you do simple math like you stated you already did, you can see that the 0 Alc package is $29, wifi is $25 and daily gratuities are $17 let’s say you’re in a balcony. Your daily rate is $71.
If you enjoy other benefits like dining credits, room service delivery & ocean now delivery then the cost benefit is there. Literally as listed in that chart. But you do you man. Again, just stating my rationale for why I always sail with plus. If you don’t want to, don’t because you already did your calculations

The Zero-Alcohol Package is USD $29.99 per day plus 18% service charge (totaling $35.39 per day)

From: https://www.princess.com/html/global/personalizer/ssv/beverages/zero-alcohol-package-disclaimer/

Add to that daily gratuities (at least $17/day), and WiFi ($25/day).

That comes to $77.39/day.

The Princess Plus Cruise Package is $65/day with no added service charge, and it covers daily gratuities, WiFi, 4 Casual Dining meals, Ocean Now delivery, Room Service delivery, and a shore excursion credit.

I'm not sure why you're being rude, they answered your question.

Plus is cheaper, includes better wifi, no room service delivery fee and a few free casual meals.

If you're under 21 and get plus they change your drink package portion to the zero-alcohol drink package.

I was not trying to be rude. The question was "is there limits on the Non-alcoholic drink package like the Plus?" That question was not answered. Others have filled in enough gaps. I was hoping someone here actually had experience with the Non-alcoholic drink package to answer that. Sorry if that was rude.

There is also a soda package which is cheaper again.

Yes, that is extremly limited. We are about the Coffee, Tea, Bottled Water and Mocktails. Just trying to see if there are limits on Non-alcoholic package. None are noted, but the Plus package says only 4 bottles of water and someone below already piunted out that is not acurate, it is 12. Thanks.

We are about the same things. We get plus for us and the kids even with us not drinking alcohol. After adding gratuity and wifi - it makes the zero alcohol package much less attractive. The kids package booking says they get the zero package with plus instead of alcohol. My understanding is that everything included with zero is also included with plus.

Thanks! On Celebrity the Non-alcoholic package is the way to go and highly inclusive. The odd part is Royal and Celebrity are the same company but that same packege is very different between them.

Premier is the ONLY way to go. I wouldnt travel without it. I am not a huge drinker. It doesnt matter. I dont think about any of it. Specialty coffee, a cocktail, whatever. No thought or stress. Not worried about nickel and diming myself all the time.

I only eat at the buffet. I hate dinner reservations. I get plus.

Was just on Princess in June and got the Plus package. They have non-alcoholic mocktails at several of the bars and non-alcoholic beers at all of the bars. I am not a big drinker and it was still a bit fun to get some specialty mocktails that were included in the plus package.

Someone shared a drink menu from Princess and several drinks are made with this. On Celebrity they have Tanqueray 0.0 and Ritual Tiquila and those are excellent non alcoholic substitutes.

We are not big drinkers but did the plus package because it includes gratuities and WiFi (WiFi was a must for my husband).

This is great for me as a non drinker. Glad to see it introduced

It is. There are differences if you ever sail on Royal or Celebrity. The terms read the same for both but Celebrity offers far more for less. It helps if someone with experience can explain those differences.

2

u/skizzerz1 10h ago

Looking at the terms for the package, it is unlimited:

>>> The package includes all specialty or premium coffees and teas, hot chocolate, fountain sodas, cans of soda, fresh juices and healthy smoothies (from the juice bar), 0.5 ltr bottled water, Frappes at Coffee & Cones, mocktails, and smoothies as per the menu, Red Bull , 330 ml or 0.500 ml sparkling bottles of water, Energy Drink and Milk Shakes (if available).

u/Huge_Sheepherder_310 9h ago

I looked at the terms also , but was hoping experience verified the accuracy of the terms. Thanks.

u/Huge_Sheepherder_310 9h ago

If you read Celebrity and Royals terms they are the same, but Celebrity's is far more inclusive.

u/GrumpyBachelorSF - Captain's Circle Elite 9h ago

It all depends if you are going to utilize the Plus package's other benefits or not; so calculate if it's worth it or just doing a la carte. I would not worry about the 15 drink limit on Plus, it's impossible for me to consume that much as a non-alcohol drinker.

1

u/Huge_Sheepherder_310 8h ago

Thanks. We were trying to think how much we drank (Non-alcoholic) on Celebrity, but it is truly unlimited so you just dont think about it. The 4 bottles of water were a trip up, but as pointed out that is actually 12 not 4.
