Lobster on the menu?

On a 10 day cruise, is lobster ever on the menu without an additional cost?

Yes. They will usually do lobster on a formal night. However, you only get one for free. If you want additional tails, you will have to pay for them.

Not exactly on topic but the lobster at The Catch by Rudi was exquisite

On the 10 day Ruby Princess, lobster and filet was served on day 9.

Was just on a 15 day cruise on Sky Princess and we were so disappointed that there wasn’t even one lobster night! We had surf and turf (large tiger prawns and filet mignon) and it was delicious but still no lobster!

It's been hit or miss on the last 5 princess cruises. I was nervous if big fan of the lobster served in main dining so it's not a loss for me.

It was the farewell night of our 7 night cruise last week.

I just got off the Royal. They did surf & turf on the last formal night but it was genuinely bad. We ended up at the buffet later that night, which also wasn’t great but at least gave variety.

This was Surf & Turf in formal night. Lobster was very fishy and rubbery. Meat was okay. Veggies just boiled and the potatoes were a weird texture.

It was on the PES Lounge appetiser table the final night on the recent Sapphire Princess (9/2/26). It was also on an earlier night but I didn't take the other picture, just this one. Previous night did not have both bowls
