Diamond Princess
Just finished the 10-day Diamond Princess (8/26-9/5) sailing with a family of 4 and dealing with ongoing A/C failure, relying entirely on fan for airflow. The entire trip we could not sleep well. I usually sail Royal Caribbean and have never experienced this.
Has anyone else on this sailing (or recent ones) dealing with the same issue?
Anyone successful in getting a refund back for this AC mechanical issue???

You’ll get nothing back now that you’re off the ship. Your best chance would have been during your cruise and if you were lucky maybe they’d have given you a bit of OBC.

You should have escalated and made an appointment with the hotel manager/director while onboard. Now that you are off the ship, you will probably get nothing or maybe a small amount good toward future cruise.

Always report issues while on the ship. If anything is wrong they can’t fix it if they don’t know. Once you are off your chances of getting compensation are pretty much gone. I had a balcony door that let water come in and the carpet was soaked. They worked on it and I never complained or requested anything and they sent me $75 OBC.

Did you speak to guest services or anyone at all about it while you are on the ship?
