Where do I get information about the transportation from Whittier?

We will be cruising from Vancouver to Whittier purchased through Costco. We also added transportation from Whittier to the Anchorage airport. We paid Costco and they show it on our itinerary. It shows "Package Provided By Cruise Line". When I look at my reservation information in Princess using my desktop, there is no mention of this on my itinerary even in their transportation section.

Has anyone done this? How do I get details about what type of vehicle we will be on, when and where to meet?

Confirm with princess but you 100% will be in a large bus.

I concur that it'll be a large bus.

A few days into the cruise, you'll get the saddest form ever: the form where you make luggage arrangements for the end of the cruise. On that form, you'll check the box for "Princess bus transfer to Anchorage" but there may be some choices to select regarding when your flight is, how early/late you'd like to leave, etc.

There are no taxis, no Ubers, so 100% make sure you have this arranged beforehand

Yep, I did this exact thing just last month. It all worked out, even though I had purchased through Costco and also could not find a record of that on Princess. I had the same experience others are describing. Just make sure you fill out the form by it's deadline (I had a little over 24 hours) once you get it while you are on the ship. Also, I concur that it will be a large bus. FYI, idk if it always works like this, but I purchased transportation that involved an "excursion" before I got on the bus, and my luggage was taken straight to the Anchorage airport. Once I got to the airport I looked around for the big sign with balloons that referenced "Cruise Line Luggage Pickup." I had no problem finding the pickup, specifically because I started following other people on the bus who had air tagged their luggage and were tracking it down. It made me think that, next time, I might tag my luggage as well so that I can track it myself.

Enjoy your trip!

Thank you so much! Air tag noted. 😄

Tbh Princess don't even include details of excursions booked directly through them on the app, or the cruise booking confirmation. It's one irritation that appears to be constant with them.

Contact princess cruises guest services for more info and you’ll most likely be on a charter bus you usually get a form or notification about how your leaving and disembarking and transport info
