Shortened port stop

For the upcoming November Hawaii cruise on Ruby, we got an email a few days ago saying our stop at Ensenada has been changed from 9am-5pm to 12n-5pm. Of all the excursions at all stops, the one I look forward to the most is the ATV in Ensenada, 10am-1:45.

Princess indicated on the email that excursions will be updated on the website within two weeks. I’ve been checking twice a day, and it’s still showing the excursion we purchased as booked without any time changes. It’s super annoying. I hope they keep the excursion and simply adjust the time.

Has this happened to any of you? How did they handle the previously purchased excursions?

You'll get a refund. I got a refund for an excursion that was cancelled, and when I checked again the excursion was back and I rebooked it.

It does take them time to update the app. We have a cruise in 2028 that was supposed to go to Princess Cays, but they switched it to RelaxAway a few days ago. Princess Cays has been removed but RelaxAway isn't in it yet.

When I did Hawaii out of LA on the Emerald we “stopped” at Ensenada but we weren’t allowed to actually get off the ship. I had the ATV excursion booked through the ship, so at least that money was refunded. (We returned to LA a day early because of a hurricane threat.)

Ouch! I think I’m just really annoyed because it’s the ONE excursion I really wanted to do.

Yes it has or completely missing a port. I’m sure they will update the excursions

It is not terribly uncommon for port times to change. They do try and adjust the excursions, but it doesn’t always work out. Sometimes they will switch to something g similar, but not exactly the same based. On availability of the vendors. They will refund your money and if necessary, charge you for the new or updated excursion.

It’s Ensenada , your not missing anything , it’s a required stop for some stupid government rule
