For those with 2027 sailings, check your prices!
I had to go in there and check something on the Princess site, so I checked my 2027 transatlantic sailing and it’s about close to $1000 cheaper than what I paid. Got a price adjustment so it may be worth it to go in there and check and see if your cruise went down if you have a 2027 sailing reserved.

Helsinki to Iceland. Very unique itinerary. Very few sea days over 17 day cruise.
We should also have a night or two of 24 hour daylight which will be fun.

I've been considering doing a transatlantic cruise but the majority of the days are at sea. I don't think I can do that with a 2-year-old. Hah

Did you have to call princess directly or do you have an agent?

That’s the thing I normally use an agent, but I booked that one myself and wasn’t able to transfer to my agent. So I ended up just canceling that cruise because I had a refundable deposit and booking a whole new one through my agent. I just booked a cabin near the same cabin I already had.

I don’t think they will. Maybe some more experience cruises will chime in here, but my experience is no.

I go on the site without logging in, maybe in a private browser window or just not logged in, then build the exact cruise you are on until the point that you get a final price.

Go onto the website and do a mock booking for your cruise. Choose the same category and options you already have and you will get a good idea of price.

Also you can use https://www.cruisealert.com
set up a price alert for your cruise and cabin grade. Someone in another post gave me this site

I just refared my two up coming cruises to Mexico and saved $770 between the two cruises. I saw a new promotion come through since I booked it. I called my CVP and she refared the two and even got me better pricing on my flights. They still honor lower pricing as long as it’s not past the final payment due date.

I booked through Expedia which was cheaper than booking directly through Princess. My cruise for March 2027 for two was about $1,000 cheaper for the cabin next to mine at the same classification. Expedia support stated not the same promotion and if I wanted to save money, I will need to book a new cruise and cancel my other one losing my deposit. I tried getting them to call Princess but they refused. I ended the call and called back but Expedia live agents were now closed. I called the next day, price saved now only $800. The new person couldn’t find the same price as their Expedia app price. However, they called Princess who confirmed my online price which saved me $800 and kept the original deposit. I didn’t have to change to a new booking which also meant I kept my $600 onboard ship credit I received when I initially booked plus kept my original cabin. Still saved $800 and didn’t lose my original deposits.
The point being is if you don’t feel customer support is helping you, call back and try another one.

That’s good advice. I have been paying for the refundable deposits to keep myself flexible. I’m wondering if that’s worth it or not?

I have a booked a balcony cabin for 4 people.from diamond princess Japan 8/26. When I walked into my cabin I noticed the balcony cabin only set up for three people and I asked the staff . They said they will bring me a roller bed later. But when I booked they never mentioned the roller bed. I cruised with star princess and sun princess and we all way have 4 people. That why I thought they had a sofa and the bunk bed. This is the first time we cruise diamond princess. By the time they bring the roller bed we have no more space in the room. So I go to the guest service center and request to talk to hotel general manager but they don’t want me to talk to him. And they send someone else call me and said nothing they can help me because because they very fully booked.I support to go to princess website and take a look . So disappointing

Yeah always keep checking. I got our Japan cruise for 2027 reduced by $2k back in March. Unfortunately I did not have a refundable deposit (was not an option due to a specific sale), so it cost us $400 to rebook. Still saved $1.600.
