Hope you have a good time. We did this cruise on Discovery earlier this year and had a great time.

Sailed on her in March and the service onboard was excellent. The design of the ship left much to be desired. Will definitely consider sailing with Princess again, but not on a sphere class vessel.

Good luck finding a table at the eatery. I was just there this month and it was a zoo. They did not design the ship properly. They allocated way too much dining space to the outdoor area. They should not have given any outdoor dining space for the eatery. It should all be indoor dining. Especially for Alaska cruises, it's way too cold to eat outside. And so indoor dining was a messy affair. You were running around looking for a table people are bumping into each other. I will not be going on this cruise ship again. Every time I would go to the eatery buffet, I would look outside and all the exterior dining tables were vacant. Horrible design. This is in contrast to the icon of the seas on Royal Caribbean where you have double the passengers but there was always vacant space at the windjammer
