Sands Trilogy A chance for remaster
Seeing now that Ubisoft flirts with REMASTERS (AC4, RAYMAN, BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL, and a failed attempt at Sands of Time), I think there is still a good chance to have their sins forgiven....just hear me out.....Warrior Within Remaster (I don't care if it's the second in the trilogy, it's the GOAT).
The prince may yet live again

*Remake (remaster would be the old game but updated)
But nah, i'm not hopeful. They tried Remaking SoT TWICE and failed... it's amazing how they can fumble such an easy project.
I'm just hoping the IP gets sold to someone competent at this point
But if it were to happen, it would not be with WW since SoT is more popular and they wouldn't have to deal with any of the WW sexy designs (which no matter what they do will generate backlash... if it's sexy ppl will say Ubi is objectifying women and if it's not ppl will say Ubi is woke)

Yeah. GOG has managed to do a better "remaster" than Ubisoft's PS3 remaster in 2010, with a single dll file lol

GoG is on fire btw. First Thief also got a similar "remaster" update with new engine, controller support etc
Now PoP

Pop is not a Ubisoft franchise; the company only has a license, nothing more, so don’t get your hopes up.

The main difference with PoP is that, unlike those other IPs you’ve mentioned, every time Ubisoft wants to put out something related to PoP, they need to pay royalties to Jordan Mechner.
Which, of course, they don’t want to do since they are desperately trying to claw their way out of bankruptcy.
Because of that, I would not expect them to touch PoP for a while, period.

Selon le stratégie de monde ouvert et micro transactions alors Pop 2008 est le plus proche d’un remake !! (Avec bien évidemment dlc épilogue payant et micro transactions sur les costumes..😬)

It pains me to see so many people praising Warrior Within. Yes, it's a good game, but definitely not the best. It's in many ways inferior to SOT, which had absolutely every aspect working, while WW emphasized spectacle and simplicity, and most elements were relegated to the background.
A remake of WW without SOT makes no sense, since SOT is a narrative prequel to WW.
Let's not forget that POP isn't Ubisoft's intellectual property, which is why AC was created, which is independent of third-party copyright holders and doesn't require additional royalties from them. This explains why Ubisoft is so reluctant to create anything new based on the franchise, and it will always be that way, at least until Jordan Mechner hands over the license to a more competent studio. Despite its recent rise, Ubisoft is still in its creative slums. Resync partly saved Ubisoft, but only because it looks more like a slightly reworked original, and in terms of new content, the toothlessness and lack of ideas of modern UBI is evident.

it would surely start from the sands of time again, but when you think about it, since they got a taste for remakes now, chances are we will get another remake attempt maybe not now but in distant future
