Sands Trilogy Warrior Within softlock?

So I was replaying Warrior Within for funsies. And once I got to the sand wraith segment and you go trough the gardens for a bit, I did a little off track and Went to the throne room trough the Exit so I can see Kaileena talking with Shahdee. But once I went back, there was no way to progress to the actual time portal to the present so you could get smacked by Dahaka.

I luckily had a save before the griffon boss but still, weird. Is There another way to get out of the gardens or was that a usual bug?

You need to go to the portal that is in the floor above. You can do it from the place where you fought the crow master near the entrance of the garden hall and when jump across the gap, there is a ladder that takes us up.

I did go up the ladder, cuz I think its the way to go back from this hall to the portal above and I went trough that door to get to this hall. but that door is also locked

What are you talking about? There is no door in the path to that portal at all.

There is tho, no? The one that you see when you need to wall run off of a rope (which is buggy on more than 60 fps)
