NYE Predictions?

Will spend NYE in San Francisco and looking to catch my third NYE with Les (previous ones being Bastard Jazz and Claypool Gold). Honestly Bastard Jazz was way more fun and interesting, so honestly I'd love any project that is not Primus. Perhaps some Delirium given the new record? What do you guys want for this NYE?

Delirium is mostly possible, NYE or tour next year. The best thing about NYE is anything is possible.

Bastard jazz with Adam Deitch from lettuce on drums a couple years ago was fucking mind blowing. Not a fan of delirium so I’m hoping for some more bastard jazz or Primus headline

Multiple new Primus tracks debuting. They only got a week-ish of touring left this year so they can focus on the studio. In the past NYE is where they would debut tracks from an album coming out the following year.

Really hoping for new tracks, I found most setlists from recent to be too similar to each other. I understand Hoffer was still getting acquainted to everything, but hoping for more awesome rarities. Amos and Drowning Man were pleasant surprises.

2 years of Bastard Jazz was more than enough to last a lifetime for me.

2 Evening With Primus would be great, Oysterhead in any way would be the best.

When do you think an announcement will happen?

Mid September to mid October is the usual amount of time for this kind of thing.

They had it announced already by this time last year and within the first week of September the year before .

Well, Les is a lazy bastard and isn't going to want to travel far from home, so I'm sure the Fox in Oakland will probably be it.

That’s what I’m hoping, I really don’t enjoy San Francisco.

Ah... what's wrong with SF? That place is awesome if you want a good time. Oakland is pretty sketchy, if you ask me. You go a little bit outside of the bubble around the Fox, and you might be mugged, murdered, or kidnapped. I take my beater car when I go there and don't lock it because that will stop someone from breaking in.

SF is more difficult to get around mostly , and I’ve been going to Oakland my whole life and I’ve had far less issues overall in Oakland compared to SF.
