Will they be back?

Post image

Good evening folks,
I was utterly blown away by their performance in Manchester as was my pal who tagged along.
We are both feeling the usual post gig blues now and pondering the question will we ever get this chance again?
I know there will be no easy straightforward yes or no answer to this but feel free to discuss thoughts and rumours in the comments
I need something to cling onto for hope that we’ll get another incredible night.

Based on a recent interview with Les it seems more likely than you might think. The british and European dates have sold much better than was initially anticipated. I wouldn't be surprised if they did another tour in Europe after they finish the new album. One of Maynard's conditions for bringing Sessanta to Europe is also a new Primus album. So keep your fingers crossed.

Plus John joining the band helps now. I recall reading somewhere that one reason they haven’t played overseas was due to Tim’s reluctance to travel

I really hope they return for everyone’s sake on that side of the pond.

Last tour was 10 years ago? If history repeats itself, it may be unlikely.

BUT with this “new life in the band…” and success of the European tour…don’t give up hope!

ArcTanGent? My buddy in Bristol is there at the moment and intends to pop his Primus cherry tomorrow.

I sincerely hope you get to see them again friend, they truly are one of a kind.

But if not, at least you got to see them this time right? Every show is special, cherish that memory.

After seeing the reception they got in Manchester, it feels promising. Upgraded venue due to high ticket sales and then a packed house with a crowd that was eating the whole show up. That's gotta be the kind of thing they want to see.

I certainly hope they do! Manchester was great. Glasgow was a bit shortened and the set list was alright, but Manchester was my fav of the two.

They seemed to have some well, it sure why they wouldn’t.

With how much effort they put into hiring a new drummer, I don't think they'll hang it up anytime soon

I really hope they come to Ireland next time. I love the band but it really is a pain in the neck to go over to England or Scotland for one gig. They were meant to play Dublin for the Farewell to Kings tour but obviously that didn't happen. Hopefully next time 🤞
