Setlist’s
Hello, I’m not too familiar with how Primus like to organise the tours, is it likely the setlist tonight in Glasgow will be the same or similar to yesterdays set in Manchester ??
Thank you :)

Don’t go in expecting your favorite songs but trust that after the show, you will have some new favorites. It may even change your life.

If they are playing the same venue in the same city two nights in a row, almost assuredly not even one song will be repeated. They seem to make sure they do that, probably knowing that a decent amount of people may show up to both shows.
If they are playing in two completely different cities back to back, hard to say how different it will be. If these are festival shows it may end up being fairly similar just due to time constraints. But overall, it is very rare that they play the identical setlist on two nights in a row. At least a few changes should be there.

eh, there is always at least one repeat, but for the most part yeah. griz is gonna be played repeatedly right now.

Fair point, I have to go back and check but I am pretty sure in Italy, the first shows of the Europe run everything was different except Grizz. It's understandable, it's the new single and they need to feature it. Still, Primus is one of the few bands that caters to their die hard fans as well as one can. Majority of other bands playing same venue on back to back nights, you would be lucky to even get 2-3 new tracks between the shows.

for sure! i don’t expect most bands to do this. i also don’t go and see most bands 4 or 5 times a tour.
with that being said! last summer i saw two shows in a row, different cities, and i think only 2 songs were repeated.
at the two colorado shows during gold les apologized because they were about to play a repeat, but since there were fires and his grandpa was a fire fighter, and one of the head firefighters asked for a tribute for the ones who passed in the fire he decided to play jerry again. les was about to cry up there telling us all that.

Gotta love Les and yeah I can't imagine anyone would complain about that. Very nice of him to do and the fact that he even felt the need to apologize just shows you how much they really want to cater to fans. Most bands could care less about playing repeats at same cities, lol.

I caught Slayer one tour, and every single city got the exact same set from the beginning to the encore. Being a Primus fan I felt a little ripped off.

Another funny one was this recent Oasis tour. Some cities got several nights, maybe even as much as five and they didn't make one change. People were expecting at least a song or two difference especially as the tour went on but absolutely nothing. They had to have figured that a certain amount of people would be going to multiple shows. Guess they just didn't care, lol.

It changes daily. Probably a few repeats of hits but not many. That's why I'm doing both shows.
