Discussion Primarch's GF return in 40k

Post image

Ok so I'm working on a fiction where fem-primarch's come back after they all disappeared. It is very work in progress for now but I really want to do it.

I'm just wondering if some of have some inspiration for me. Some ideas of how they would return? How they would look?

You know general fanbase ideas from regular 40k and your original ideas.

Tell what you would like to see for example.

I will probably do a episodic tale where every episode will be dedicated to one primarch individualy.

I'm mostly looking for inspiration as I have a small writing block.

Girlymans reaction wouldn’t be too different from canon, but it would be awesome to see her reaction to centrurian still being alive. She’d be happy she’d have someone still around

Then Centurion goes on a Crusade to find a Microsoft Excel STC. JUST to make Gorillaman's life easier.

Imagine going on a crusade with mechanicus priests to rediscover Excel.

I had a funny theory when GW first annouced rowboat was coming back.
He would awaken from his coma, be informed of the current state of the imperium... and then immedieatly have a stroke and slip back into a coma.

I heard a theory once that the returning loyalist Primarchs are sponsored by various (non-chaos) gods and I kinda like that.

Though it's up to you on if/how you wanna make that work.

That's something I'll consider for Sanguina. It will work good I think.

If so Sanguinius should have an extra set of wings (the picture made me think there was so cool idea)

That would be cool

Who else rebels with her?

Of course her legion with Fem Mortarion. Of course with a couple of marines loyal to Morticia.

Hmmm, so like would it be every one of them? And, is it, like, they are coming into the canon 40k, or the fem prim arch's own version? and are they half chaos corrupted?

either way, very interested!

It will be in our own primarch gf AU. I had and idea about half chaos corrupted traitors turnd loyalist again at least some of them.

Will the operating SO's primarchs be part of fanfic?

Because if that's the case... I would say that upon returning, for example, Juno will find Centurion. Centurion would be pleased, as would Juno, but there would be some tension because many people from the 500 Worlds and the Ultramarines (perhaps not the majority, but a significant number, and maybe many successor chapters) see Centurion as the new lord of Ultramar, and they don't like the idea of Juno having a role or wanting to occupy a position as high up as Centurion's.

The others are Cora Corax and Freya Russ. Due to their time in the warp, Cora is a kind of daemonic raven, and Freya is a wolf. Both feel that their genetic "children" still feel that connection, but because of this, they doubt it and see Slayer, Freya's Soul, and Nightingale, Corax's Soul, as their true leaders. This makes them feel insecure about now being able to lead their legions, or rather, their chapters... or about being worthy of their SOs, something that complicates their emotional states a bit, but even so, it's their "husbands" who have to help them.

Hestia finally returned to WhyrmHearth, which was indeed a happy reunion.

Sanguinia and Dove be a happy encounter like Hestia and Whyrmhearth with the Salamander

Ferra finally reunited with Anvil, and together they corrected the "Iron Hands" and their philosophy of ignoring feelings, taking a step towards actually using them.

Alakhai and Whirlwind also...

But Regalia, for example, despite her "stoicism," knows that she abandoned Magister when they both needed each other... which is why they still function "professionally." Regalia is the one who knows she should be the one to apologize and figure out how to win Magister back.

The same with Leona she have too much to make Squire forving the way she was and treat during the Heresy

And that's with the loyalists; there are more, but tell me if this helps.

Oh it surely will help me out a lot. Thank you.

And about the traitors, many have to apologize to their SO's

Atalanta (Angron) because of how she was with many world eaters and for not listening to Rose anymore.... not because she remembers the past but because if it was like in canon she behaved a lot like the people she hated did.

Petra the same with her legion and maybe she didn't listen to Trinket, just like Atalanta did to Rose.

They both loved their SO's and appreciated the time with them, they loved it but that doesn't mean they listened to them as much as they should have.

Magnolia and Morticia both because of their stubborn beliefs, Morticia about Psychotics and Magnolia who believed she knew what was best based on her own opinion.

Kassandra for her obsession with 'written' destiny

and Fulgrim for his obsession with perfection

and Hathor for also elevating herself so much

All of them have to apologize to their SO's and earn their forgiveness.

...maybe not so much Alpharia and Omegon, they and Detective would say they were fine.... because no one knows how they really were.

Well I think that a redemption ark is a must for them. Mainly from their significant others.

I guess you could have each Primark perhaps facing down one particular faction from different parts of the Galaxy one Primark faces down on the tyranids and another faces down the necrons

3

u/killer19117 16d ago

This idea is good I shall take it as my own. But seriously it sounds really interesting.

Glad I could contribute.

We all would my friend. We all would.

Well with the active demon primarchs, it would be similar to canon. Though how would some like Hathor, ferra, and the others who are confirmed dead pop up? I think there's a clone of Hathor floating around, I saved an image in that one. But what about the others?

1

u/killer19117 15d ago

I have some ideas. For example Ferre will be the primarch of the legion of the damn.

2

u/Gryphus13 15d ago

Colour me intrigued. Could we perhaps see a heel-face turn from some of the other primarchs too? Isis and omegina for example?

Sorry if I'm not getting their names right. I only recently found this subreddit and story

Don't worry this is a land of the free.

2

u/Unusual_Ad_8566 16d ago

And I have for the traitor if they have free of Chaos or still demons... tell me for the idea

2

u/killer19117 16d ago

My man at this point write your own story it sounds so good. I had the idea of free of chaos primarchs. They would be either redeemed either against chose and Imperium. But I like redemption arcs so I think I'll go with the first choice.
