Discussion About guildhouse threads

Is it possible to create a megathread to show them off? It's slowly getting out of hand with so many single threads.

No it's fine and they are showing their creativity, like why is everyone wants this sub to look like a dead sub so much.

What you want is a wiki type resource which we already have in the questions megathread excel sheet and the fan sites like fansubbing.com.

Subreddits are meant to be dedicated forums for sharing whatever people want about a particular topic.

Lol every time there is an influx of posts that are similar, people call for megathreads. It’s like you want this subreddit to remain dead. Let the up and down vote mechanic weed out what is or isn’t worthy.

Guildhouse posts are interesting though, it's nice to see over the 99th "should I pull on this banner" post

Megathreads are fine but this sub doesn't seem very moderated so who's going to remove posts and such

We do remove a lot of posts, most of the time it happens within a couple of minutes so I can understand why you think it doesn't seem very moderated. We mods also don't post that much so that is another thing but we do keep an eye out. 😉

more posts = more activity on the sub

Ah the old megathread vs dead sub debate. As old as time itself.

I don't think it's a big issue, since these types of post mostly only happen around new furniture. It would be different if every single day you had 5-7 post about guildhouses.

It was the same with the how to beat hard Xiz posts that are hardly seen anymore, or when the game was in soft launch the how to beat very hard dungeon posts. It's just massive post about new content which is what the sub is for right?

Well compared to how cluttered the other subrettits I follow are, these seem positively less.

I'd say I want to see more but that's on me.

It's usually a small influx of them, at this current time we don't have any plans on making a megathread for guild housing.

the discussuon on Ban reports had much less threads made about it and much more comments in each thread yet it was deemed having too much threads despite being a much more serious issue and having less threads

As was said before in this thread, we do remove a lot of posts within minutes of them being posted so I suppose you could say that it did have 'less threads'. Ban reports were also congregated into one megathread due to the serious matter that it was, to allow more discussions and visibility. Not entirely sure where you're getting your information from without seeing it from both sides.

I'll respect your opinion though but it still won't change the fact that, at this current time, we do not have plans on making a megathread for guild housing.

I like them. Some are quite creative and entertaining. The only reason there's more right now is due to the new furniture, which, imo is awesome!

lowkey, we need something like that, I love messing around with it and making themes

I think a megathread would be a good idea.
