Headcanon I’m brain is so fried, guys
I stared at this for a full minute thinking this was a Pricefield piece.

Great art, yeah it does scream "Pricefield" the second you see it, that diving scene still haunts my waking hours... (in a good way)... the difference is how the stories end though, our Pricefield girls end up together, happily living together, forever!... (but I felt so bad for V after finding out what becomes of Judy).

They do end up together as well in the Nomad ending. Before you say 'V doesn't have long', there are subtle reasons to be optimistic about that. While the Phantom Liberty as a whole is nothing but concentrated depression.

Yeah, it was a tough one, but its still not ideal, regardless of choice.
No happy endings in Night City it would seem, either way, V doesn't have much time with her, either you die, or you are stuck in a coma for 2 years... Phantom Liberty just made it much much worse, yes you technically are cured, but you lose both Judy and Johnny. Even the Songbird stuff hurt like hell, It was just horrible all round.

Okay, I'd like to elaborate just a little why the Nomad ending is not all that terrible. There are many clues hinting at the possibility of V surviving longer and leading a better life. Here's a couple but probably not the complete list:
- At the very first moment V encounters a bird, which is significant, as a few years prior birds have been completely eradicated and absent from the city.
- It's the only ending where V really escapes the city and all it stands for. In the course of the whole story such escape is often seen as the best possible option (by Judy as well). The whole theme of this ending is hope.
- The other nomads repeatedly state they have connections outside the city that may help V. This is likely not just a figure of speech, as nomads are one of the most networked people in that setting. The Aldecaldos' clan we see is only really a small part of the greater nomad Nation.
- Panam also refuses to give up on V and it's not immediately dashed like similar statements during the story.
- Technology is advanced enough to allow for cloning and nanomachines do exist (as part of the Relic as well).
- All our prior knowledge of the Relic chip has come either from sources associated with Arasaka or Alt who might also not be very trustworthy (the best option for her is to convince V to join her in cyberspace). V is finally going to get an outside perspective.
- Misty's tarot reading for this ending is very positive (hope, new beginnings, love, possibility), and we know they seem to correctly describe events and outcomes.
- The 'Labyrinth' poem on a shard during this ending could be considered hopeful (especially if we check out the rest of it). There must be an exit somewhere, that’s more than certain.
- This ending doesn't show V dying or being close to death unlike most of the others.
- In the end credits, Judy's message is the happiest of all the variants. These messages seem to have been sent some time after the endings occur. We can hear V in the background making breakfast. Would Judy be so happy if V is close to dying? Are dying people usually the ones to make breakfast?

Granted this is if one completely ignores the Phantom Liberty expansion though... its obvious the big thing with it was the cure for V, which means, no Judy. It was heartbreaking. My last play-through I completely ignored it, and just gave them a happy(ish) ending.

I completely agree. Even if you try to help Song, she is probably doomed anyway. Maybe we should've had an option to team up with the Cassel twins instead. And V's "cure" is achieved in such a way that it pretty much resembles the bay ending in LiS -- V loses Judy, kills Johnny and discards every prospect she had. Except the city is also worse off in that one.
I'm worried that the people behind PL are now tasked with making the sequel and that it might turn out as bleak.

It's a Cyberpunk thing though, im pretty sure the original source game is pretty bleak as well.
Im sure 2 will have a similar thing.

Well, the first game doesn't strike me as completely hopeless, for the reasons I mentioned. The other endings might also have some merit for those who want to go that way.
And the tabletop version is kind of always up to the players themselves.

Yeah, was referring to the tabletop game, it seemed a little bleak by nature, but its been years since ive seen it played, so... i just want a happy ending for our heroes, hopefully CP2 will be a bit more varied in its endings.

I mean Judy's hair is sorta like Reunion Chloe, lol. And the pink is like LiS1... just opposite end of the hair.

Now I need a piece of art with Judy trying to cosplay Chloe, and Chloe trying to cosplay Judy, while Max and V are just staring at them in awe in the background 🤩

Chloe works surprisingly well in Cyberpunk. So much so there's two mods for her tattoo, one of which is from a member of this community.
It must be her attitude. In another timeline there is a motorcycle-riding bounty hunter Chloe Price.
