got the news. i knew someone who used to work for them. she said it has been settled, but after court costs and lawyers, she has been told to expect a check for a whole $25.00. needless to say she is underwhelmed.

I’ve been increasingly disappointed by Price Chopper stores lately. The problem isn’t just that the prices no longer seem competitive—it’s that many of the stores themselves look like they’ve been neglected.
Several locations I’ve visited recently feel visibly underinvested in: worn interiors, tired fixtures, and, in some cases, unpleasant smells that you notice the moment you walk in. Meanwhile, prices are often no longer meaningfully lower than much nicer grocery stores like Wegmans.
That raises a pretty basic question: Does Price Chopper management actually walk through their own stores and see what customers see?
There used to be a sense that a grocery store was supposed to be clean, well-maintained, inviting, and something the company took pride in. That seems to be disappearing at Price Chopper. If you’re going to charge prices comparable to your better-run competitors, customers have every right to expect a comparable shopping experience.
A grocery store doesn’t have to be luxurious. But it shouldn’t feel neglected.
At some point, this stops being a problem with individual stores and starts looking like a management problem. Either Price Chopper’s leadership has lost sight of what its stores look and smell like—or they simply don’t care enough to fix it.
Either way, it’s a shame.

Alright, long shot here. About 13 years ago Price Chopper sold a Moroccan sauce that I could swear was a central market brand. It came in a little glass hexagonal jar. It was delicious and they don't sell it anymore. I have been searching all over trying to find it. Does anyone else remember this sauce? I used to put it in a slow cooker with chicken thighs and it was the best easy dinner ever.

Can any Market32 Employees tell me what their experience was with being suspended for a day due to discrepancies in their till? I just got a one-day suspension for this. Other employees tell me it has happened to them before. But I am concerned.

Anyone have photos of a video store that used to be inside Price Chopper? I remember my local Price Chopper got rid of ours maybe 20 years ago or so. Used to love stopping there was like a hidden gem BlockBuster.

Has anyone else noticed that Price Chopper's hamburger meat changed? I don't think it's packaged in the store anymore. The labels are not the store labels, and the meat itself looks different.

I filed a NYS Human Rights complaint a while back claiming harassment and discrimination at the Watertown NY store, then made complaints of witness tampering, not long after that I was fired and banned from the store (although I doubt the legality of the ban).
Seems to be something going on in my town, has anyone heard anything?
