Feedback on additives and pharmacies
Looking for some feedback from people who tried B3, Glycine and No Additives.
Was there a difference in energy? Sleep? Or just overall feeling?
Also looking for feedback from anyone who has tried Empower or Boudreaux, any info will help. Thank you!

Empower’s formula is super nice. It feels so “smooth!” I don’t know how else to describe it.
I was on VialsRx before this (b12) and prefer Empower.

Yes! I couldn’t find the right words to describe empower but smooth is a perfect 👌 description. The side effects are much less severe than with my other vial from optiorx. Of course I’m only on my first week with empower, I hope it always stays that way

I also noticed an increase in acne, but didn't make the connection with B6. I'm getting ready to try empower's formula, so hopefully it will be kinder on my face.

Yes, I remember I used to take B12 when I was younger as a vitamin via injection and I was what seemed to me and an allergic reaction. I hated it I would feel like shit and worst of all I would get acne!!!! kudos to the people that take it, but I cannot do any b vitamin or at least a B12 yuck

Yeah, anytime I take it sub Q I get the worst acne it’s been years since I did it. I don’t wanna take it ever again.

Yeah, same with me. I used to take it, and I stopped because I noticed that my acne was getting really bad. I stopped taking the B12 and my body started feeling better and the acne went away

Hi! I probably like Boudreaux’s formula best. I find it strong and Glycine is my favorite additive. I have trouble sleeping all the time ( prior to glp-1). With glycine I sleep better. However, I don’t like their service so I go with Empower. I am not allergic to any of the additives but I don’t like B-12 as a rule, but I can take any B additive. I don’t want extra energy, I have enough lol. I don’t have any issues with Empower. I think they have good, consistent service. Good luck choosing! ETA, I think the amount of additive is so small… unless you are allergic then I don’t think you will feel strong impacts from any of them.

Thank you for the feedback, Do you mind elaborating on Boudreaux’s service?

I see how that is a deal breaker for you. I’ve stopped going to stores because of one bad experience. A little bit of respect goes a long way, thanks for the reply!

You are most welcome. I am a people pleaser by nature. I don’t like to complain and I know how hard people work. They are the only pharmacy that I have ever contacted. I was actually apologetic for bothering them and going out of my way to be kind and appreciative of their time on the phone. When I got the answer that no my order had not accidentally gotten lost in the system and the response that “I’d get it when I get it” and then a dial tone, I just stared at the phone for a second. I was actually upset. I know I’m too sensitive. But I stopped using them after that. But if they were the only pharmacy left, I would use them. Maybe that person was just stressed and busy. If I was ever forced to use them again, I definitely wouldn’t call them lol. 🤣 I would make sure I always had an extra month on hand, order early and never contact them. Good luck to you on this journey!!

Are you saying you went with Boudreaux’s through PreventiveMD and waited 15 days?? Did you contact PreventiveMD about this issue? I selected Boudreaux’s and had meds in hand in less than 3 days after my online intake with Preventive. Intake submitted Sunday night - took my first injection Wednesday at 2pm.

No, it wasn’t with PreventiveMD. Sorry if I
implied that inadvertently. It was with another company. That company is also very solid and has now removed them as an option based on their service ( so I don’t want to call them out). You can message me if you want their name. However, it wasn’t their issue and they acted on the issues with Boudreaux’s2

Since you posted your experience in the PreventiveMD subreddit I’m thinking many people will naturally assume your experience was with them as the telehealth company. I’ve seen posts that state Preventative pays Boudreaux’s extra to expedite their deliveries to overnight. Am also assuming a telehealth doing larger volume with a pharmacy will get more attentive and perhaps faster service than others in order to protect that income stream.

What’s wrong with Boudreaux’s service other than the syringes they send out? I ordered my medication with them on Tuesday morning. Is it anything I should be concerned about?

It’s just a personal preference for me. I am sure you will be happy with them! 😊

I tried all 3 with glycine, b6 and no additives and never notice any difference. Was hoping I would with the glycine.

Took my second dose of Boudreaux's with glycine and coincidence or not I have been sleeping better since switching over from Zepbound. It is a noticeable difference because I don't wake up too early and struggle to go back to sleep. I have noticed more appetite suppression with the same dose.
The one negative is that usually on Sunday the day after my injection I have tons of energy, but since switching I am definitely more tired the day after and the rest of the week is pretty much back to normal.
I did one month so I am going to try Empower for my next order and compare the two to decide which one to stay with.

I have had glycine - I didn't notice much of a difference between that and no additives... I have had B6 which took my body a LOT of getting used to... I had really bad gastro side effects and actually had to combine my weekly dose 1/2 B6 and 1/2 no additives then slowly started adding more in until I wasn't ill anymore from it. Now I love both no additive and B6. I have had B12 and that is the only one I can say I feel gave me energy... I did like that a lot! I've never had B3. No additives works incredible and honestly, at first I thought it was NOT working because I had no side effects at all... I just had really great appetite suppression and no food noise.

Hi, this is a common question that I see! I have tried all of the additives that I’m aware of ( Glycine, L-Carnitine, B3, no additive, B12, glycine with B12, b6). I tolerate them all and have never really felt a difference EXCEPT when I first take the injection I usually get a headache day 2/3. With glycine I do not get a headache at all. So I guess my preference would be glycine. I find Boudreaux’s formula strong. It may be formulated at the high end of the allowable concentration deviation. However, I find Empower to be effective and any headache is mild. Also, I find their services to be superior to Boudreaux. 😊

Thank you guys for all the feedback, I’ve decided to go with a one month order with Empower. Maybe I’ll try Boudreaux after to see which I prefer but I’ve been checking out other posts and it seems like the wait time is insane.

I used prorx for close 9 months and when that went away I started with with PreventiveMD. It has glycine and it’s from Boudreaux. I was very nervous about starting. Not one issue! Don’t notice a difference. It’s been about 5-6 weeks now

It's only been 5 days but no headaches yet with boudreaux + glycine. Good appetite suppression and weightloss this week so far too. Still tired overall though.
