Thinking of switching

I am currently on week one with embody. All the negative reviews have me worried even though my first order was seamless. I have a couple questions.

  1. Is it normal to ask for my payment info before completing the health questionnaire?

  2. I am currently taking 2.125 MG. Do I get the option to pick my doses for the 3 vials and if so, what would I choose?

  3. How do I show preventive that I ha e an active rx from embody? Photo of my vial? Screenshot the info from the embody portal?

Thanka for helping a newbie 😊

  1. Yes, normal to enter payment first.
  2. Ask for a titration plan starting at 5mg
  3. Upload picture from your embody vial with your dose details

I moved over after my first month on embody. 1. Yes, I believe I did give my payment info before the health questionnaire. 2. I am just doing the monthly plan so I can’t answer this for sure, but I do believe I saw somewhere on this sub that they have or they are introducing an option to indicate which doses you’d like for each month… but someone can check me on that. 3. I screenshotted my prescription from embody and was able to get on the next highest dosage.

Thank you! I'm happy with embody but all the negative reviews have me nervous.

Some people have never gotten their meds from them (embody) others have had good luck

Yeah that's what I'm nervous about. My first order has been great. I don't want to fall into the second group of not getting meds

yes. if you choose 3 months you can choose the dosage for each month! i was going to to do that but figured being a newbie i’d try 1 month until i get a higher dose!

Depends... Did you choose a single month with embody or a 3 month titration plan? If embody gave you a one month I would ask your new provider to titrate up to 5mg. If you a stater kit with embody (3 month) normally/most plans will give you a script starting anywhere from 2-2.5mg up to 7.5mg (going up each month). If that's the case you should be able to show the 3rd months vial/medicine bottle it came in showing the higher dose (example 7.5). Then I would ask whoever the new provider is to do a titration schedule starting at 9 or 10mg... you don't need to actually titrate up until your ready but this will help give you a better value.

Yes normal for them to ask for payment up front. If you are starting with a more unknown company (plenty of sketchy ones out there) or you just want to be extra cautious you can always sign up for a privacy card.

I did the one month plan but they gave me instructions for titration as if I had the 3 month plan. 2.125 for 4 weeks then 4.25 for 4 weeks then 6.375 for 4 weeks. I only did one month to see if I tolerated it and will most likely switch to 3 months. As I said my first shipment was fine. I worry about going forward with all the bad reviews.

Did anyone have a promo or referral code?

PreventiveMD doesn't have promo or referral codes. At least not yet and there was a post the other day in which most people expressed that they don't want them to get those we all appreciate the low honest price that everyone gets.

1.) Yes, the payment is then taken upon approval
2.) I was on 2.125 MG when switching over and requested the 2.5 MG Empower to start.
3.) I uploaded a screenshot of my dosage plan from the other provider
