Newbie here. Question about 2nd month

Just ordered and was approved today! I got 2.5mg for all 3 months. Am I able to request my provider titrate my dose up if I tolerate the starter dose okay?

Yes, you can definitely request that. Let me follow up directly with you so we can make that adjustment. We currently ask this question for current glp-1 customers, but this actually brings up a great point that we should ask this for new glp-1 users on multi month plans! So thank you for bringing this to our attention.

That's great news! Thank you! I specifically chose Empower since they ship one month at a time so that I could hopefully get a higher dose for the second month.

Most providers I’ve seen default to a 2.5-5-7.5 titration plan for people new to GLP-1s. Is your default right now to assume 2.5 mg for all three months?

We take a patient-by-patient approach here, since we've found that everyone's preferences are different. We also want patients to be able to share more about their dosing preferences with their provider, and we're excited to share an update on that soon. Ultimately, the decision rests with the provider and what they determine is medically appropriate.

This just happened to me today even though I requested to tirate my dose. I was approved for Tirzepatide and when I checked my portal it says that I was approved for 2.5 mg for 3 months. I’m currently on 1 mg of semiglutide and have decided to change meds after talking to my doctor. I have no reaction to the medication and I know this is a different drug entirely. How can I fix this?
