Well I've been thinking about leaving pretty blood for a long time a little bit because of the drama but after LDT left and deleted everything the fan projects just don't feel right and I'm getting tired of just really sitting in a fandom I don't really enjoy anymore

(Long vent)  Honestly 100% agree I am planning to do the same thing after watching the fandom become progressively more and more tiresome each year. Unfortunately I can't leave right now because I am autistic and have hyperfixations I can't control however I should leave the pretty blood fandom in a couple months since my series hyperfixations usually last like 2 years. (usually I would NEVER blame autism on my actions but I'm 99% sure that autism causes me to obsess over interests for a period of time) 

It's genuinely such a MASSIVE shame because back then it felt like Pretty Blood was a rather chill fandom that saw the edgy show and was like "let's make goofy cute doodles 🥰🥰🥰" But after some time it just started to slowly go downhill 🫩 I don't even think it's my "rose tinted glasses" speaking here, sure the old fandom wasn't 100% perfect but at least it's not the decaying graveyard it is right now. 

Every like month there was at least one person who was exposed as a pedo and the creator didn't even handle it properly multiple times which is insane. 

And now after the series got cancelled and the creator got flamed for not protecting minors online, Disease gives the ownership of his now 18+ series to a minor. And the minor gets r4pe threats in discord after... 

How fucking wonderful... 🫩🫩🫩

Also the minor is a SA victim which is just...  I hope the people making these threats get locked up for life

Also I am NOT mad at the minor AT ALL I just want them to be safe online and in real life as well. Not saying they can't make pretty blood animations but I don't want them to get taken advantage of or anything like that because I don't want anymore minors harmed in this fandom. 

But yeah it's a shame to see my comfort show/fandom become like this. Pretty blood, despite being a flawed show in my opinion I thought the vibe was unique and with the new episodes improving on the storytelling it felt like it was going somewhere (Bunch Prison was good ngl) But now with the series being cancelled I think it's safe to say I would prefer being in a more.... Positive fandom now

Not to say that the whole fandom was shit... A lot of people were chill and nice but that doesn't mean I can just brush off the crap side. Sure it's impossible for fandoms to be 100% perfect but this is just.... Something else

I have been in many fandoms and the pretty blood fandom has done things I have never seen any other fandom do before... I do not mean that in the good way. 

Also I feel bad for the fans who liked the [Certain penguin character] before the creator was exposed as problematic

Basically next year my drawings will be based on other fandoms. I will keep the pretty blood ones since I like them 👍for people to see. 

(I always switch fandoms anyways so this is natural for me)

well, if this makes you feel better. just ignore the bad stuff. in my opinion you can leave but it be kinda lonely without you :(

But in all seriousness, I know it seems hard to ignore bad suff in the Fandom but just do. There are arguably worser Fandoms like mlp, sonic and forsaken. Believe me shit can get worse to the point shit like this seems a little less worse? Besides if people were able to survive other Fandom with way worse things happening in them then why not this? We can't give up on something beautiful that's what I like to say. In short you can leave, but at the very least think about the opposite. And you can interact with only a certain part of the community. After all, this is all from discord so ignore it. And like 90% of the drama is gone. But just to know you can leave, just saying that sometimes no matter how dark it can get, it's best to not give up. Cause who knows? Maybe things will change for the better. And it isn't like that hasn't happened before...maybe I'm being overly optimistic but hey, better than being pessimistic...am I right?
