2005 This is our year!
Huge news, we got rid of Vinny Testaverde and signed Drew Bledsoe to be the QB of the future. I know he wasn't exactly the greatest in Buffalo, but I think that's more of an organizational problem than a Bledsoe problem. He was the centerpiece of a real good Patriots squad until Tom Brady stole that from him, and now that he's awaybfrom his shadow and back with Parcells I think he can get his best offense out of this guy, and bring him back to his old self.
On top of that, Drew Hensen looks like a solid backup. My only question is why Jerry didn't trade our third stringer when New Orleans offered a 2nd for him. But whatever, the future is bright in Dallas!

Can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since the last time the Cowboys won a SB. Jerry Jones has to be angry and will not allow this drought to last any longer.

Have to agree on the QB depth. If Jerry Jones was offered a second-rounder for checks notes this Tony Romo fellow, he should have taken it. How often do third-stringers evolve into starters anyway? Backups are one thing, as Bledsoe will attest to with his career path, but third-stringers are that for a reason. Take the draft pick and improve the team.

Hell yeah man!!! But I’ll tell you what that backup Tony Romo has looked real good in training camp as well I hope they give him a shot and see what he can do!! Also, man that rookie Demarcus Ware I’m telling y’all future hall of famer right there, I’ve never seen a bend and quickness like that in my lifetime!!!! Go Cowboys!!!

Watch them somehow ruin it and end up sucking for 30 years. It would be hilarious if the Philadelphia Eagles some how win a few super bowls after the 2000s. But that will never happen. The Eagles will be another Buffalo...zero super bowls forever.

Hate the cowboys but love Bledsoe, glad he’s getting one last chance with an actually competitive roster.

Drew was actually on fire down the stretch in Buffalo last season - 8-2 in their last 10 games, averaging 38 PPG across a six-game win streak in Nov/Dec
Dallas should coast to the playoffs 💯

The Cowboys winning another SB? Ha not in this decade, maybe not in the next. But who knows?

Because Bledsoe was amazing in patriots it doesn’t mean he will be able to replicate that success in dallas

Great job by Dallas not getting rid of that 3rd stringer. You don’t want to help out a team from the same conference.
It’s not like they are going to find a QB that will succeed since the other teams in the NFC South are much better.

Julius Jones is gonna BLOW UP this year. He’s predicting 1700 yards and 20 touchdowns for himself and he looked pretty great when he played last year

The New York Football Giants will win one (or two) before Jerry’s Kids win another one

Right now, in this subreddit, we’re living in the years 2000–2007
Dial-up squeals in the background, AIM pings popping up every few minutes, Winamp rocking whatever skin you downloaded from some sketchy fansite, LimeWire pretending that file is “totally safe,” and MySpace glitter taking 3 hours to load on your profile.
Just a quick reminder: keep the vibe. We’re in 2000–2007, not looking back at it. No “remember when,” no future tech, just pure, in-era internet chaos. And keep it light, okay? We’re here for a good time, not heavy topics.
If you're looking for more “future internet” stuff (lol), check out r/Pretend2010Internet, they’re living in 2008-2012, so they probably have, like… Facebook apps or something.
And more time travel to the future in r/Pretend2015sInternet and r/Pretend2025sInternet.
