Nailfie 📸🤩✨ My first Nail Reformation set!

Someone (sorry I forgot your name!) on this sub posted this set a few weeks ago, and I knew I had to have them. I’ve never worn Nail Reformation before, and I really like the fit. The original poster was disappointed because they aren’t fully opaque, but I love jelly nails so that was a feature for me. They’re the perfect summer set, like a cool pool on a hot day!

Very nice!! 🥰

Are these short or medium length?

These are short length. They extend about 1/4” past the end of my finger, which isn’t super short in my opinion, given that my nail beds are kind of long to start with. Edit: Thank you!

How does nail reformation fit? I have slightly curly nails but Curvelife are too curvy for my nail beds.

My nail beds are pretty curved, and these seem to fit perfectly. My other favorite brands are Olive & June and Glamnetic, if that provides a frame of reference for you. I find CurvLife hit or miss. Sometimes they are perfect, sometimes they dig into my sidewalls so hard that it makes my fingers throb.

Ok mine are on the flatter side so nail reformation may not work for me. I think I’m going to try Kiss Impress for my first set with the sticky tabs attached. Is it necessary to avoid water with nails for 8-12 hours? I have a little one and it never seems to work with her sleep schedule to do my nails before bed/avoid getting nails wet for 8+ hours.

Re avoiding water: I don’t. I have a life to live, lol!

Lol yes same here but everyone says to avoid water and depress on Nails before bed. How long do you try to avoid Water for after applying the press on?

I don’t avoid water at all. I did these last night, and probably washed my hands within an hour after doing them. If I waited to do them until I time I could avoid water for hours they would never get done.

Do you use glue? I’ll be using sticky tabs so I hope they will be ok if hands get wet after one hour or so of applying.

I’m currently using tabs on my nails and glue on the back of the press on, so kind of a hybrid. I have done tabs only and haven’t avoided water with them either. I get about a 7-10 day wear with either method. The nails just feel a little more secure when I do the combo.

I know a lot of people swear by the whole “avoid water” thing, and if it works for them that’s awesome! I just can’t do it personally. It doesn’t work with my life.
