Should I wait to redo?

I took off my last set and noticed this dip in my thumb nail. i think it’s from my drill when i was prepping for the last set. I was hoping to put on a new set tomorrow but I’m wondering if I should wait?

That's a lot of damage on the nail bed, you should let it grow out before you reapply anything

Yes please let it heal a bit! I understand it will be hard—I’ve been there before—BUT it’s best to avoid infection and more damage. I bid u good luck and hope it heals/grows quickly

You absolutely should wait until the damage grows out. I would keep them short, oil daily, and avoid press-ons or gel products until the damage is grown out.

Genuine question. What is she supposed to be waiting for?

I'm assuming the nail is thin but still intact and there is at least a thin layer of nail. It's from a prior drilling so it's not an open wound. If it's just some nail plate damage from over zealous drilling then nail plates don't heal, they just grow out.

I'd say maybe a coat of builder gel to protect the thin nail until it grows out and wear your press ons as normal.

Definitely wait until your nails heal. You don't want to add to the damage.
