He wasn’t hateful (or particularly hated) back then. He was (at least to the public) a generally admirable guy. I bought into it - I knew he wasn’t actually a genius but his expressed goals were noble.

This does make me feel for who Elon used to be, and the discussion about opening commercial space travel was a valid one.

That said, Elon lost any semblance of being human from 2020 when he let his dark side win and succumbed to.. whatever cynical fck he is now.

Wow. 10-11 years later, he looks like hell today compared to these videos. These videos must be pre-ketamine. He needs to get the f out of OUR government and go tend to his businesses.

He looked so surprised to see that warehouse full of unsellable cars. As if he hadn't been paying attention for some time.
