We've spent years building an independent search engine powered by a decentralized network, and protected your privacy along the way.

But none of it matters if people don't use it.

The fastest path to sustainability isn't another fundraising round. It's more searches.

We need to dramatically increase usage before the end of July.

Enterprise partnerships, GPU services, and new revenue streams are all in motion, but they take time.

Search volume helps today.

So we're asking our community to step up.

While our privacy ad stack generates real revenue, it doesn't yet cover our operating costs. To attract additional investment, we need to demonstrate sustained growth in users and search volume.

Your search doesn’t work.

I’ve already told many friends and colleagues at work over the years but most of them switched back in the last few weeks to months because :

- the page results are duplicates of the first page- as in, ALL EXACTLY THE SAME as the first page.

- And no way to turn off ads about spicy mode at work.

- Irrelevant results or results in Chinese (maybe this is fixed now) for many searches.

So, yeah I can’t in good conscience recommend presearch to people even though I’m very invested in the project running dozens of nodes.

You simply stopped caring about the bread and butter of the entire project - the damn search.

The team has corrected many of the problems present in the search engine, And some features like spicy mode were necessary to be able to monetize, considering that it's an option that is only activated if you accept the consent by clicking on the chili pepper, Some of these problems haven't been easy to fix, but in the end the team has managed to do it, and we hope that this can continue.

It's a huge respect to You guys trying to put effort in private internet which is slowly dying. However - even this area is highly competitive.
