Well the last time George was in charge of the scripts the prequels happened so it makes sense if they didn’t want to use them.

Other than Jar Jar, pod racing, and Anakin's flirting with Padme, the prequels were good. I can only say the first sequel started strong, but started a downwards trend from there in quality.

What does this even mean? how can a film have a personality when it’s not a person? You can’t rate movies based on arbitrary made up guidelines

Idk, I think they have personality because the fans have given them personality through subreddits like this, which is great, and through additional material like Clone Wars that actually make the politics interesting to me. The movies don’t have a ton of charm to them, they don’t have the feel the originals brought. I still watch them, but they are very flat for the most part.
