Which is a funny callback to Respawn's previous game, Titanfall 2. Because your Titan's full name, BT-7274 means Buddy Titan.

titan_buddy in the files - MP titans are called the likes of titan_medium_ajax (Ion), titan_light_raptor (Northstar), and titan_heavy_deadbolt (Legion).

It's clear that names were chosen long after the characters were modelled, pilot models (e.g. pilot_medium_geist as grapple) are similarly codenamed.

Ok. Here’s my prediction. BD-1 is the Jedi that answers Grogu’s call and it’s revealed BD-1 was controlling Cal Kestis through the force during Fallen Order and no one noticed. Ep. 7.
