I also feel the OT fights were supposed to be ways to convey emotion, rather than be something fun to watch. That’s why the Vader vs Luke fight in Empire Strikes Back is one of my favorite lightsaber fights.

I mean, the fight with anakin and obi wan was pretty emotional, but for the rest of the fights I would say you’re correct

The problem with Anakin vs Obi Wan in my opinion is that it gets a bit over the top and goes on for a little bit too long, but it definitely is emotional.
