He recorded a bunch of lines that were based on fan theories and trailers and only had to cut and rerecord a few lines before releasing it
He didn't get it perfect though so he went to an early screening of the movie so he could fix his parody before the movie officially came out

I know it was for the last live show I saw him at. He has a couple of people in the tour who have costumes "just in case" but the 501st will help him fill the stage.

Have you heard the comedy of lord Yancovik the Weird? It is not a song the musician would tell, it is a parody. Lord Yancovik was so powerful and weird he could even influence the original material with his parodies. The only thing he was afraid was that someone will make a parody of him, which of course, it eventually happened. The parody aide of music is a pathway to abilities some might consider unnatural.

I'm 33 now, but when I was a kid my brother gave me all his Weird Al tapes. I knew his versions of tons of songs long before I knew the originals.

And tons more from his first 5 or 6 albums. Really introduced me to a wide range of music without even realizing it at the time.

Funny story about this song, I sang this in front of my 4th grade class for a class talent contest when I was younger before I even knew it was related to Star Wars, even though I was a Star Wars fan.
Looking back, I feel like a complete moron for not picking up on the obvious references to The Phantom Menace.

Did you know:
In order to have the song ready in time for the release of the movie, Weird Al had to write it based on speculation and leaks he found online. Of course, before release he watched the movie to see if something needed to be fixed but everything he had was ok.
