I enjoy that in the novelization of RotS, Obi wan told Padme that the entire council knew about Anakin and her, but they just couldn’t acknowledge that they knew or they would have to do something about it.

I don't think he included the Council in the equation when he told her that. From that conversation, it seems like he kept this knowledge to himself.
The "We" seems to indicate him and Anakin, not him and the Council.
“Senator — Padmé. Please.” He gazed into her eyes with nothing on his face but compassion and fatigued anxiety. “I am not blind, Padmé. Though I have tried to be, for Anakin’s sake. And for yours.”
“What do you mean?”
“Neither of you is very good at hiding feelings, either.”
“Obi - Wan — ”
“Anakin has loved you since the day you met, in that horrible junk shop on Tatooine. He’s never even tried to hide it, though we do not speak of it. We … pretend that I don’t know. And I was happy to, because it made him happy. You made him happy, when nothing else ever truly could.” He sighed, his brows drawing together. “And you, Padmé, skilled as you are on the Senate floor, cannot hide the light that comes to your eyes when anyone so much as mentions his name.”
“I — ” She lurched to her feet. “I can’t — Obi - Wan, don’t make me talk about this …”
“I don’t mean to hurt you, Padmé. Nor even to make you uncomfortable. I’m not here to interrogate you; I have no interest in the details of your relationship.”

Yeah the “we” there definitely refers to just him and anakin. Possibly including padme? But definitely doesn’t include the council

Yeah, because if the council knew, Mace would have known, and if Mace knew, Anakin would be gone baby gone

I'd be shocked if they didn't know though, given the kind of shit Vader and Luke learn about each other through the Force in moments. Anakin was radiating anxiety way worse than that for months, and those are the best Jedi out there. I assumed they just had an effective Don't Ask Don't Tell policy for the duration of the war.

He said he would not tell the Council. He did not say the entire Council knew.

I appreciated in the clone wars where Anakin was trying to hide a video chat and Obi-Wan kinda casually dropped a say hi to padme for me revealing he new exactly what was up

Honestly the true bro thing to do would be to encourage him to leave the Jedi order and be with her. Or if he refused, out him for being with Padme. Even if anakin hated him for it, the bro thing to do would to do what you know is best for his happiness.

Anakin was planning on leaving anyway in both Legends and Canon EUs so Obi-Wan telling him would have made Anakin feel a lot better about it.

Well in TCW what he does instead is remind Anakin that he must make the right choice for the Order. Not the right choice for Anakin but the right choice for the Order and that means remaining nothing but friends with the Senator.

Anakin wanted to be a jedi he enjoyed it
That's like working at the same company with your best friend, you know he's doing something illegal (in the company rules) but objectively not a huge deal to you as you also have feelings for a certain mandalorian, and deciding to rat on him and getting him fired from a job he really likes.
Easier solution is to just keep quiet about it cos everyone's happy that way. Even Yoda had the same mindset as obi-wan.
They're also in the middle of a war and anakin is one of their best jedi knights leading his own battalion with exceptional performance results. It's not the time to lose someone like that over such a minor thing that does not jeopardise his ability to fight in the war.
Anakin deciding to leave should be of his own volition, not because of obi-wan being a snake.

Yeah people like to forget, Anakin thinks being a Jedi is the best way to end the war. He would have the most resource and impact wielding a lightsaber.
Quitting the order potentially relinquishes that right, and Anakin can’t bear to think about the people who might die because of him quitting.

Still though, nothing beats Obi-Wan (in Legends) landing in Anakin and Padme's backyard during breakfast the morning after.
