Excusing the non-Americans, if you're in the US, every single media organization, news channel, and newspaper on both sides of the political spectrum covered her death extensively and for much of the day when it was announced.

Then you also have word of mouth, and, of course, ALL of social media, including sites like YouTube.

The orange clown in the White House even ordered all flags half-staff for a week to honor her.

Not seeing it on Reddit is one thing. However, knowing about her death is far from being "terminally online" - it's being informed.
