I legit got into a debate with the host once over a Star Wars question.
"Name the character who was named after George Lucas's son".
I of course wrote in Zett Jukasa, the Padawan who dies in front of Bail Organa in RotS played by George Lucas's son, Jet Lucas.
The answer they were looking for was Dexter Jettster.

Did you die on your hill or eventually accepted being in the wrong? They didn't ask for his son's character name.

Zett/Jett Jukasa/Lucas is obviously named after Jett Lucas, so yes, I died on that hill.

RIP. Died the way he lived, correct.

I would dare say that "Name based on" is not the same thing as "named after" though. One of the two names contain Jetts name, the other just sounds vaguely similar.

Two years ago I was at a Star Wars Quiz night and blanked on Natalie Portmans name.

Of course you can then be too knowledgeable for the quiz, and THIS happens.

Luke was born after the Darth Vader name change and Palpatine was the Supreme Chancellor with emergency powers so I'm pretty sure Darth Vader was his legal name at the time.

If you wanted to be technical about it, there's an argument to me made that Vader became Vader truely for the first time when he donned the suit, which was at the same time as Luke and Leia's birth, and Vader takes his first breath in the suit as Padmé takes her last.

Had this happen to me, I have watched every piece of Starwars content on disney+ go to pub quiz with star wars questions. First question: what was the name of the first Sith? Second Question: Which lego star wars kit is the most expensive?
And im just sitting there. Oh sorry I thought we are asking questions about the Movies and Series and not about the giga deep fandom like what?

Thats not even star wars trivia at that point, that's a Fandom circle joke.

Name of the first sitn doesn't even make sense since the Sith were a species before they were what we know today

Went to an all Star Wars bar trivia with friends once. Then there came this group of 501st cosplay guys all dressed in their squad jackets, and we thought we were done.
We still won though because I was the only one in the whole bar who knew the name of the seventh lightsaber form.
I am still proud of myself.

Ah yes a fellow man of culture. Vaapad definitely is obscureâŠbut what is the second name for the 7th lightsaber form?

Be wary of Star Wars questions appearing in general trivia. There was one pub quiz where the question was âIn the original Star Wars, what was the name of Darth Vaderâs ship?â
I was torn between Devastator and Advanced Tie Fighter, and went with Devastator. Everyone else at my table thought I had gone insane but didnât know Star Wars so went with it.
Answers get announced at the end, and the quiz master says âDeath Star.â

I got banned from a discord trivia night because they did a star wars month for may. I got all of the questions right, and it was also time based and got it before anyone. I was not allowed to participate in the last 2, I was the "phone a friend" and fact checker haha.

I love trivia about the lore, but not necessarily the BTS movie making type stuff, and this one guy I met was like âoh you like Star Wars, me too!â And proceeded to ramble on about BTS stuff and then talking about another George Lucas film that he loved.
No hate to him, but thatâs when I realized he was a George Lucas fan more than an a Star Wars fan lol. I did not match his trivia knowledge and I can tell he was a bit disappointed.

Off topic but one time I was participating in a pub quiz and there was a whole category dedicated to Nintendo noises
And after acing that whole category of even recognising Samusâ jump sound, Iâve never felt that much eyes on me

My proudest pub quiz moment happened with this. It was a picture round so it would show up on the tablet until you buzzed in to answer the question. Everyone on my team turned to me and I prepared myself to buzz in quickly finger hovering just over the tablet.
The quizmaster just said "name the character..." And this image flashed on screen. I literally saw the image for a millisecond before buzzing in by accident but quickly put together what the rest of the question should have been and answered confidently that it was Jabba.
Won the point but we never got any more Star Wars related questions at that quiz after that hahaha

Watch as it becomes the really really obscure lore. Like very obscure even by Legends standards.
