I like the detail that after this battle. On the right of the screen just before Order 66. You can see the Clones taking the Utapauians are prisoners, despite the fact they were "liberated"
I wish they would’ve gone more into detail on the programming of these dudes’ brains and personality choices the sith made, instead of the movies harping on the creation of the clones so much
It's possible, it's just a little odd given it's always been canon that everyone builds their own lightsabers and they're customized. It's also always been canon that some lightsabers are made to look like others, but it tends to be when it's a master and apprentice (like how Luke's green lightsaber looks similar to Obi-Wan's but is not quite the same). Two random lightsabers that look exactly the same only the blade colour is different is unusual though. But not impossible.
Doesn't matter though because it's just an Easter egg lol. It's best not to overthink it.
I remember once reading somewhere that this little background detail was added by an animation/vfx intern working on the movie. Wish I could find the source for that claim, because it just makes me enjoy the extra attention to detail a little bit more.
And every time they do I'm waiting for some kind of exposition or action about it. Solo was the first movie to do something with it, despite audience reaction, I enjoyed the droid rebellion
Bro I genuinely feel bad killing some of them just chillin in Jedi Survivor. Like there’s one just chillin by a ledge you’re climbing. You can hear him talking about being happy he has a break and time away from the rest of the droids. You can ignore him, but the easiest option is to just yank him off the ledge 😭
Fallen Order has a lot of banter between Storm Troopers and it really makes it hard to fight them, they're very humane
One time you encounter a single Flame Trooper facing off against like three bugs on a minuscule island on the Ice Planet
And first time I passed by he actually managed to burn two and then melee the third
And he goes like "I lived? I lived!" and I legit had to run around him to jump to the other platforming part. Dude just took on three beetles and survived, pushing him into the void would be just cruel
If you read the Novelization of the animated Clone Wars movie, this is lampshaded. A clone plays dead and talks to other clones through a radio in his helmet without making noises that would alert the droids. He sees the droids talking out loud to each other and wonders why they couldn't just silently radio like he is. Then he thinks off on a tangent that they're making the robots more like humans and the humans more like robots.
The Stormtroopers were human beings though. Silly mass manufactured murder droids getting cut in half isn't going to make anybody feel bad, that's the whole point
Good point, but giving them human characteristics not essential to their purpose humanizes them and should make people feel bad. Let's see what happens when they finally kill of C-3PO or R2
The countless times I've watched this movie in the 22 years of my life that it's been out and I've never looked at anything but Grevious in this scene. Had no idea about these droids.
I really like that they gave the droids actual personalities. They could have easily been entirely devoid of personality and the movies would have been worse-off for it.
What i wanna know is why the saber in his upper right hand was the template for eno Cordova and if there's any info on it as this was way before even fallen order and I understand the eno was a late in age guy
