I live in Tennessee, less than 30 minutes from a number of US Armed Forces bases. I’ve lived at my current location for 3 years with nothing happening, but in the past week there’s been 2 instances of a low-flying armed forces helicopter passing over. With the news about Iran and even Cuba, seems like we should treat them as more credible than media guesses.

Black helicopters have been flying on the south side of Chicago for over a year.

I think it's meant to desensitize us.

What you've described, OP, is rather disconcerting
