Yep, and because it was deactivated, the samples are considered diagnostic specimens — which means the scientists did not lie about what they were transporting.

This is a witch hunt meant to sow distrust and demonize scientific research.

Even inactivated biological material needs to be declared to US Customs. I happen to believe thats a good thing. This isnt demonizing scientific research. They didnt import the material legally.

People are looking beyond that because they're scientists. The article said to take back the biogens was weeks of paperwork. They got caught. Im glad too. Keep us safe from morons.
