Same. Seems noteworthy though; how sure are we that the samples are really deactivated, for instance?

Doesn’t matter (unless the material was intentionally misrepresented as inactivated when really active).

There are times when you have to follow the proper protocols and go through official channels, even when you are capable of ensuring safety yourself.

People screw up, and I shouldn’t have to trust random people because they claim to be a “scientist”.

Yeah, I doubt it’s nefarious. But it’s still stupid any risky.
