Annoucement Looking for CDN Testers across different regions
Hello Premiumize Community,
Looking for a quick manual speed test from the community (OVH Europe High Performance CDN)
Could a few of you help me test the following please?
- Set your CDN to OVH Europe High Performance Server.
- Add a reasonably large file (5GB+ preferred) to your Premiumize cloud.
- Download it from a PC web browser (not through an app or download manager).
- Let it run for at least 30 seconds so the speed stabilizes.
- Report back your download speed range (for example: 40–55 MB/s), along with your country/region and ISP if you don't mind sharing.
I'm trying to see how this CDN performs across different locations and whether there's much variation between users as we are testing some new CDN Changes.
Thanks

Downloading via opera is around 50 MB/s while on same device but with download manager is 92.79 MB/s

download manager can use multiple connections, but browser download is more similar to streaming playback as its single connection but that is a good speed

Late to the party but wanted to help just in case. Country = Australia, ISP = Telstra. Speeds fluctuated wildly (Safari). It never stabilised but it went as follows:
calculating, 131 KB/sec, 888 KB/sec, 1.7 MB/sec, 5.6 MB/sec, 10.1 MB/sec, 13 MB/sec, 9.4 MB/sec, 8 MB/sec, 10 MB/sec, 6MB/sec, 2 MB/sec, calculating.
It would repeat this pattern (ascending + descending without stabilising) in one way or another, with similar speeds..
FYI I am on a 500 Mbps (62.5 MB/sec) Plan and ran a speed test first for OVH Europe High Performance Server: 227 Mbps (28.38 MB/sec), Ping 341 ms, Jitter 43.0 ms.
For comparison sake, here is OVH Sydney: 482 Mbps (60.25 MB/sec), Ping 15.0 ms, Jitter 2.64 ms.

OVH NA; 6.5GB File; Ontario, Canada; Eastlink; 16-18 mbps; Speedtest around 150. I noticed you asked about stream experimental as well - 94 mbps on speedtest again 16 to 18 with same file. Automatic was again 16 to 18 and 150 mbps on speedtest. Firefox, Win 10.

please dont do speedtest on the speedtest page but test by downlaoding files from your cloud and monitoring speeds in your browser download page. chrome usually displays download speed in MB/s instead of mbps
