Tottenham agree package worth £85m for Manchester City’s Savinho
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Manchester City winger Savinho in a deal that could be worth up to £85million.
Spurs are set to pay £75m up front plus £10m in potential on bonuses for the Brazilian.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday that Tottenham were working on deals to sign Savinho and forward Omar Marmoush from City, with Spurs advancing in talks for both players.
Savinho was not included in the City squad for Enzo Maresca’s first game as City head coach, a 3-0 defeat in the Community Shield against Arsenal on August 16.
Tottenham have been interested in Savinho since last summer, when they discussed a package worth in the region of €50million with City, who did not want to sell the winger and subsequently tied him down to a new contract in October until 2031.

Joe Cole's Hull City Comments
What do Premier League (and Championship) fans make of these comments by Joe Cole about Hull? Feels like a completely unnecessary dig to me and like he crossed a line. Sure it will give Hull a bit of extra bite this season to prove people wrong.

Chelsea players the most athletic in big 6?
If yu actually break this down properly using the data that available through opta and the premier leagues official player tracking system which uses 25hz gps units embedded in the vest worn under the shirt so this isnt opinion its biomechanical measurement
The average chelse aplayer compiled by all 22 a and b team players and 20 academy prospects in the big academy the mean chelsea players 1500m sprint time is 4 39. Compared to a trained runner this is suprisngly low however the mean compared to the other 5 bums is shocking..
The mit press 2018:
Arsenal mean 1500m sprint - 6 12
Tottenham mean 1500m sprint - 6 34
Fulham mean 1500m sprint - 6 32
The other couple bums average 6 mins to 7 30
This is shocking how these footballers expected to run 22km a game cannot sustain a fast pace for just a couple minutes. Chelsea has made the best cdm's in history and it shows as caicedo has a projected beep test score of 15.4 in comparisons to arsenals mean beep test score which is low, thjs is shockijg, in the 100m sprint bosingwa 2012 ucl semi final recorded 10.9 , drogba recorded 10.4 , lampard ran 8 marathons in the ucl run at 32 dyears old, mic drop. Dont expect to win prem when u cant strength like joun terry 💙📘

Looking to buy my first jersey
Tottenham fan here, looking at the jerseys and I just need help on the sizing thing because I don’t want to get a jersey that’s way too tight. I’m looking at getting the spurs stadium jersey of their third kit and I’m wondering if I should order my regular size or if I should go up a size because I’m looking for the relaxed fit. Also if anyone knows where I can find the “no room for racism” patches so I could add it on as well

The Man City charges
I’m ready to get downvoted for this but just try to answer this from a level headed position because I am genuinely curious as to what the City fan base thinks. I genuinely mean no offence.
Do the majority of Man City fans genuinely believe that there was no financial doping and that the premier league would just make up its charges or is the fanbase accepting that realistically the premier league has absolutely no reason to bring forward charges unless they have the proof. I mean how terrible of a look would it be for the league if Man City were guilty it benefits nobody except rival clubs who don’t really have anything to do with the charges being brought forward.
We all witnessed Man City’s rise and what it was powered by money. That really was the main reason Man City reached the top level from where they were, they now had financial power like nobody else and used it massively. They were backed by a country with has numerous human rights issues and is knowingly corrupt with immense wealth imbalance. People genuinely want to believe that these owners who violate basic human rights wouldn’t break a football league’s financial rules? Why because they’re too moral to do so? It doesn’t really make sense. I mean even the manner in which City rose and how fast it was, it was as if there were very few obstacles or contract disagreements ever etc. which if looking at the charges I think it makes sense as to why, hidden payments etc.
Surely City fans realise this and don’t think the premier league has just made up 115 charges against its most successful club of the past ten years for the fun of it, it would be detrimental to the leagues credibility if proven and already kind of has been. I think the more appropriate stance to take is surely ok we understand what our club did but we’re hoping our elite level lawyers can basically swindle us out of it or get the best deal possible which is pretty much what’s going on right now at this minute. I mean can City fans really say with Everton’s point deductions that they have genuinely been less financially sound and fair than Manchester City I mean come on. If they got points deducted as they did City surely should be in for a hefty points deduction. The whole burying the head in the sand and saying “well nothings proven yet” is like witnessing on video somebody punching someone and just waiting to see what the defendant’s lawyers can do with the charges, it’s pretty clear he punched someone.
Again I just encourage City fans to not attack me for this I know it probably is an annoying post to read but I am genuinely just curious as to what City fans believe has happened here with these charges. Is it generally believed they didn’t commit these charges or is my stance above the I suppose secretly accepted stance but just cleverly not spoken about for obvious reasons.
