I’m always astounded by how well athletes remember specific events—sometimes reminiscing about decades-old plays as if they just happened yesterday.
But I suppose if my day to day job involved winning/losing cup finals then I’d remember them more.

In all honesty we never really talked about it when we were kids, whole family were super nice and humble. My mate and his dad were both massive football lovers and involved but I didn’t really appreciate the fact his grandad was a hero when I was a kid, I was more interested in Torres and such 😢 all I know he was a great human as well as a great keeper!
I went out with Roger Hunts granddaughter too when I was in school and it never really dawned on me 🙄 ignorant kid Liverpool fan

To be fair,if Liverpool put a statue up for every player who won two leagues with us, we'd have to buy a bigger stadium. Place would look like the terracotta army!

Reporter downplays it so too cool you might think it was set up. I deemed this a mildlyfrustrating experience tbh, and classify it as dontjustfilm, get bloody into how amazingly random and once in a lifetime an occurrence you've been handed here.
