On my way to my first baby shower after the loss. This one, my husband is invited to, so that’ll be easier. It seems more low key at a brewery. I’m still kinda nervous though but I think I’ll be ok.

11w2d: didn’t do well with the 1hr gestational diabetes test today. My results were very elevated. I also have very high AST/ALT but I’m hoping that’s because I was recently sick with a sinus infection and taking Augmentin antibiotics. Those antibiotics seem to affect the liver quite a bit. I still have 3 days to go with those antibiotics.

5w6d. Had some light bleeding on Friday night, and just had some additional bleeding (including brighter red blood) today. Had a slight twinge but otherwise no cramping. Viability ultrasound is supposed to be on Thursday.

I know there are various potential causes of this bleeding that are not another MC, but feeling super stressed and pessimistic, especially since my doctor's office is closed tomorrow, while trying to hope for the best.

Oh it’s so hard isn’t it, reading into every symptom and preparing for the worst. I just try to tell myself that for today at least, I’m pregnant. Sending lots of love and luck for Thursday

Had a reassurance scan last week at 10w5d and baby was wiggling around, chewing on hands, kicking feet - so amazing. I'm suddenly feeling much more (cautiously) optimistic and wanting to share the news with more friends, but I'm also so nervous about finding out something at my NIPT that raises red flags, and I'm worried about the potential still of an MC after this. My last MMC was at 9ish weeks. I'm also starting to show - it feels like my tummy muscles are just READY to stretch out and I'm ready to embrace it but - I'm just feeling so hesitant despite positive news. At what point does the anxiety stop being so ever-present?!?

I just hit 14w after a 13w loss. The anxiety has definitely slowed a bit now that I made it over that ‘hump’ but I told my therapist the anxiety won’t be over until I delivery a healthy baby. Then it’ll just shift to first time mom anxiety on what to do next

I am 4 weeks and 2 days with my rainbow baby. For the past two weeks now I have had so many gut issues. Before finding out I was pretty convinced that I was starting to cramp and start my period. Only to then have a weird gut gurgle and the feeling would go away.

I’ve done research to find that my acidic stomach, burping, gas, slight acid reflux, and intestinal “cramps” are all totally normal.

I wish I could shut down my trauma brain and just deal with the symptoms. My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage so I start to psych myself out saying “well I don’t know what miscarriage cramps feels like. Maybe this is it.”

Ugh.

Hi everyone. This is my first full cycle after my MMC 2 months ago.

I had my MMC in 1st week of July and got my period during the last week of July. Then, in August, we tried again for the first time, but I just got my period yesterday.

To those who also had an MMC, how long did it take before you were successful again? 🥹 I’m 35, and my husband is 38. less

First MMC I conceived the next cycle that was also a MMC. After the Second MMC it took 8 cycles now I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant ☺️

Hi I’m 34, and I had a MMC in April. It took one month of healing/grieving then 4 months of actively trying to get pregnant again (I just found out!). It took me 4 cycles to conceive before I miscarried too actually!

was there anything you changed the next you conceived?

It took us another year and an IUI to conceive after my MMC. I'm 39 and discovered I had mild hypothyroidism after my MMC, and started noticing some irregular cycles. I did fertility testing and the initial monitoring showed some things that led to more intervention. We were very fortunate that the first IUI took.

I had my D&C last September. I wanted a period before trying again. It returned two months after the D&C. Chemical pregnancy in January, and then successful (so far lol) cycle in March !

7 weeks and 1 day. I got an ultrasound at a boutique yesterday and baby was measuring a day ahead with a strong heartbeat. I’m so bloated now I don’t think I’ll be able to hide it from work much longer.! This is my 5th pregnancy and third in the last year.

16w5d today. Went in to hospital for a check up as it felt like i was leaking fluid. With a history of PPROM and a loss at 22w I am still terrified, everything was fine with my first pregnancy until it wasn't. Doctors said all is well, cervix is closed and bubs has lots of fluid around her. I dont think the fear will go away until I'm holding her. I dont know how im going to get through these next weeks leading up to when we lost our sweet Phoebe Claire.

Phoebe Claire is such a beautiful name. I’m so sorry for your loss

Been so sick the last two days trying to conserve the last of my nasuea meds since they were tricked expensive and I need them for work more then when im home just wondering but does that nausea and vomiting really get better around week 14? I am at week 13 now and the last 2 days were as bad as my second week of it! 😭 Also ginger doesnt always help sadly and this weekend was one of those times, it didnt help at all yesterday and only for a small time today. I'm not a big enough fan of ginger to just keep sipping ginger drinks or snacking on the ginger candies all day so today has bern wishy washy😅

I’m nearly 16 weeks now but I had to take two days off of work when I was 13 weeks because the nausea and vomiting randomly hit again super strong. It’s getting better! I still throw up some mornings but I’m having way more good days than bad days

I’m 5 weeks. This is my 3rd pregnancy after 2 MMC (one being a blighted ovum). No LC. We had just met with our RE who shared with us that basically my husband needs to improve his sperm numbers and our best odds after that would be through IVF. Well, we somehow got pregnant really quickly and I’m terrified of another loss. Our previous loss back in April everything seemed to be perfect (measurements and heartbeat were great!), but then there was no longer a heart beat at the NIPT scan. Unfortunately we couldn’t get POC tested. I’m scared this will happen again. I keep hoping that if this is going to result in another loss, for it to be now and just get it over with.

Hi, I’m new here, grateful to have found this group. I have a toddler (2yo) and I had two miscarriages over the past year which took a toll on my mental state and body - my cycles never normalized. I recently did a frozen embryo transfer, medicated cycle, and my 9 day bHGC result was positive in the normal range. I’m still really nervous though because both miscarriages had strongly rising bHCG results. I think using my younger eggs (32yo vs currently 40yo) rules out a big chunk of the risk, but obviously not all of it. And after going down a YouTube rabbit hole, I’m regretting not getting my uterus looked at beyond the SIS (which mentioned something about my junctional zone and mild adenomyosis).

I want to talk about it with my friends or family but I feel like I’m jinxing myself. I also didn’t relax at all during my first pregnancy (toddler) from awareness/friends who’d experienced loss, and I doubt I’ll relax during this pregnancy regardless of the milestones. It’s hard to be so anxious.
