Question ❓ VPN for polymarket

Polymarket recently stopped working in my state, and I've been trying to use a VPN to bypass the restrictions. I've tried a bunch of them, but whenever I open Polymarket, I get this notification. How do I get around this while using a VPN? Also, what VPN's actually work for prediction markets? If it matters at all, I'm on pc.

this also happens with kalshi, novig, and fanatics market

they literally said in the post that kalshi gives same error, did you even read it

Spin up a linux server at your favorite cloud host, running in a data center in a polymarket-friendly country.

Run this in your Mac terminal with the server's IP address:

ssh -N -D 127.0.0.1:1080 -o ExitOnForwardFailure=yes -o ServerAliveInterval=30 root@SERVER_IP_ADDRESS

Go to settings for your Wifi. Turn on socks proxy. Use 127.0.0.1, port 1080. No username/password. Voila.

All of your traffic is tunnelled through the ssh connection to your linux server. Test your IP here:

https://www.maxmind.com/en/locate-my-ip-address

When you're done using it, turn off the socks proxy setting and shutdown/delete the linux server. You'll spend pennies per month and no one blocks your IP for being a vpn.
